The sad reality is that Islamic terrorism is going to become part of life in Europe. It's a shame to see because Western Europe has by and large been a bastion of democracy and peace since the end of WW2 but the people there lack the resolve and the politicians lack the mandate to take the necessary steps to truly address the problem. They have not yet come to terms with what exactly they are up against and are in denial/appeasement mode. They have welcomed people into their countries that do not share the same liberal values as they do and who perceive their tolerance as weakness.

I was born in Europe but I am so glad that I am a naturalized American citizen and my kids are born and raised Americans. The USA is not perfect by any means but at least Americans have not subjugated themselves to the self destructive dogma that is political correctness.

However, on a social level what we in the United States must not facilitate is wholesale immigration of Muslims in large numbers who do not integrate and who live in isolated enclaves apart from mainstream society.
