KAT vs. AD

Watching the Wolves game and the Minnesota commentators are having a general discussion about big men in the league.

The Wolves commentator was talking about the greatness of KAT's rookie season (it has been great) but went on to say (more or less)

"Am I saying he's better than AD, I'm not saying that, it's debatable, right now, but in 3 years whose going to be better? If the Pelicans called me today asking to trade for KAT straight up I'd say no and it's not even debatable. Anyone who doesn't agree with me I'm not going to say you're an idiot, you're the thing next to an idiot"

I'm curious, do you guys think KAT is guaranteed to be better than AD, and also, are you really idiotic if you would accept AD for KAT? I was a bit surprised.

He already is AD except with a better 3 and he plays better defense when he gets stuck on a guard....o yeah and he's bigger/stronger

AD falls asleep too much for me on defense for someone who is considered a good defender...in other words **** em

It's debatable but give me KAT.

There's nothing he can't do, and he's like 20 years old, it's ridiculous how skilled he is, plus he's got the size athleticism and mentality to be a great player.

He's a better defensive player than AD already, a more natural post scorer, and has a much better feel for the game.

AD is great, this might sound dumb because he scores a lot, but he doesn't seem like a natural scorer to me. If he's creating for himself he's either shooting face up jumpers, or just barrelling down the lane. He's talented enough to score regardless, but he's doesn't really have legit moves from what I've seen.

KAT looks like a natural scorer to me, he can score out of the post, with simple hooks, or up and unders, he can hit threes, he can drive (with more control than AD) and I've even seen him hit step backs and pull up jumpers.

He seems to have much more fire in his personality than AD.
