Good speech:
[QUOTE]We have our inheritance, the Hungarian people still exist, Buda still stands, we are who we were, and we shall be who we are. Our reputation travels far and wide; clever people and intelligent peoples acknowledge the Hungarians. We adhere to the ancient law, and also measure our deeds by universal standards. We teach our children that their horizon should be eternity. Whether we shall succeed, whether finally we see the building of a homeland which is free, independent, worthy and respected the world over

Good thread which sums up the nature of Europes political landscape and their train of thought. They have always been progressive but always too much for their own good.
I believe Eastern Europe has a better grasp of the current situation than their western counterpart.

I believe Eastern Europe has a better grasp of the current situation than their western counterpart.
"Eastern" Europeans have dealt with the consequences of ideological fanaticism within living memory, and don't want to go through another experience like it. Western Europeans are humanoid aggregations, whiling away their lives in bizarre ahistorical bubbles, without meaning or identity, only the desire to grasp more things. It's why, despite unprecedented standards of living, they are only ever obsessed with socio-economic issues, and think this the cure for all human ills.
In fact, calling these nations "Eastern" is a new phenomenon, that only emerged because of their imprisonment behind the Iron Curtain. Warsaw, Budapest, Prague: these were always major European cities, only pushed to the periphery because of Soviet Communism. Their history is European history, excepting the second half of the 20th century. Milan Kundera wrote a good essay on the plight of these nations:

In fact, what does Europe mean to a Hungarian, a Czech, a Pole? For a thousand years their nations have belonged to the part of Europe rooted in Roman Christianity. They have participated in every period of its history. For them, the word "Europe" does not represent a phenomenon of geography but a spiritual notion synonymous with the word "West." The moment Hungary is no longer European—that is, no longer Western—it is driven from its own destiny, beyond its own history: it loses the essence of its identity.
Because these people have spent so long forcefully detached from this identity, they want to return to it; but the peoples of western Europe are mired in masochism and guilt, and seem to want to commit suicide more than anything else, to completely cut themselves loose from their past and their heritage and to start all over again.
Well, unfortunately for them (and everyone else), you can't do that without losing most of what they like about their lives.

Here is something that grabbed my attention from the link that Dresta posted:
A French, a Russian, or an English man is not used to asking questions about the very survival of his nation. His anthems speak only of grandeur and eternity. The Polish anthem, however, starts with the verse: "Poland has not yet perished...."
The train of thought used here is way beyond the comprehension of our so-called leaders in today's society.

Based Hungary+Based Poland+Based Balkans and slavic nations=the only countries with any common sense and long term thought for the future of their existence and preservation of their culture.
Once again, Eastern Europe is protecting the West-only this time it's primarily from itself.

[QUOTE] At first, they talk about only a few hundred, a thousand or two thousand relocated people. But not a single responsible European leader would dare to swear under oath that this couple of thousand will not eventually increase to tens or hundreds of thousands. If we want to halt this mass migration, first we must curb Brussels. The main danger to Europe

I have been saying that the Iron Curtain has, in a great sense of irony, protected us. Comrades here never had a time to move towards identity politics that are at the root of the Western oikophobia. People here also have very fine tuned bullshit detectors. The Brusselian media propaganda has only been backfiring.
