I'm starting to believe if given the same chance, he will be better than Wiggins. Lavine has the drive to be great.

Lavine has played nearly two years in the NBA, and already has had more losing seasons than either Wilt or Lebron.

In his two seasons.... records of 15-62 and 23-48.

Wilt took a last place team the year before he arrived to a 49-26 record and and to the EDF's. Lavine took a team that had gone 40-42 the year before, to a 16-66 record in his rookie season.

Amd we certainly can't accuse Zach of being a "stats-padder" since he has been one of the worst statistical players in the league in his two seasons...with PERs of 11.3 and 14.6.

But go ahead...keep worshiping this clown.

This is a joke. Lavine is a good player but he's not as good as Wiggins

Idk mane I hope they stay together unlike tmac and vince or kg and Marbury. Both have immense talent and the size and length to completely shutdown opposing guards and small forwards every night. Its no reason for this team to not be competing for RINGS by 2018-2019....oh and lets not forget KAT....I really love the way the timberwolves have been drafting lately.

The hype man, the hype. He was hyped beyond comprehension....very lackluster at Kansas but the high ceiling made him a lottery pick. His development will dictate the landscape of the league for the next 10 years. If he becomes a kobe/LeBron/curry type player that impacts a game every night you looking at the future face of the league and you will see a lot of teams try and "copycat" and find a player that's like a wiggins. If he doesn't develop a la like a Dwight...you looking at a guy with wasted potential and will possibly bounce from team to team

This says more about Wiggy than it does about LaVine. Wiggins has been such a disappointment, he's looking more mediocre the more he plays

I don't understand the hate on Wiggins he's in his second year averaging 21 pts on 45 percent shooting. He's average 50/47/78 shooting percentage since the Allstar break, not to mention the team lost there head coach this year. Look at players like George, butler,Leonard and how they were in their second year, I'd say Wiggins is having a better second year then all those guys and all 3 of those guys are top 15 players in the league today.

all those guys COULD have easily peaked after their second years too. Gotta keep that in mind. Plus all those guys were great defenders from day one....so they always could have leaned on being the next rendition of the " 3&D" type guys. Just trying to put things in perspective...wiggins by far has the higher ceiling than any of those guys you named....I just don't know if he will reach it.

Situations were different, coaches were different jimmy had thibs, Noah Leonard had pop, Duncan George had Vogel hibbert. Wiggins has Mitchell and a team of all young players. All three of the coaches above are all excellent defensive coaches all I'm saying is people hating on a guy in his second year should give the guy time way to early to talk shit about him.

yea that's very true. Do you think having a subpar coach will stunt his growth or can he continue to improve despite subpar to average coaching like LeBron did earlier in his career?

No I'm not worried about him at all he will be fine just have to give him time see who there coach is next year. He's gotta spend a lot of the summer watching film on the defensive end, work on his ball handling and continue working on his shooting.
