Neither tops the '13 Lakers

I remember Brooklyn playing well during the second half of their season.

Them beating Toronto in the playoffs w/o HCA was a big accomplishment for a team that struggled so much fitting together all season.

Mars were horribly constructed (3 "star" PFs, which ended up in playing Walker at center and taking the ball out of Dirk's hands) and had a PG with back problems.

The Nets were just past their prime and over the hill.

Neither were anywhere close to "Super Teams" unless you just go by names and completely ignore fit and age.

Finley,Walker and Jamison were trash in that team . But anyway , If Nash did play like " Nash" ; we would made WCF , again .

Mavs clearly had more talent. Nash and Nowitzki went on to MVPs in future seasons. I don't think any of those Nets have even made the ASG since the team was formed (Maybe Joe Johnson?). The Mavs' West was a tougher conference by far than Nets' East.
