So this movie is a mix of an Oscar winning Affleck performance mixed with some superhero cheesiness?
Does it deserve Oscar nomination for best actor?

If you think the best actor award will go to someone who is in a bad comic book movie then you don't understand how the academy thinks.

It's really good. You'll be entertained for 2 and a half hours. Did it meet expectations? Maybe not. The bar is a lot higher for DC, with gamechanging characters like Batman and Superman. I rate it on par with Age of Ultron.

Why not? If Affleck did put out one his usual great acting performance and stole the movie than he should get the nomination.
I'm hearing people say its like watching 2 different movies. Once you get to Affleck's parts of the movie, it was like watching an Oscar nominated movie but as soon as it went to the other scenes, it felt like a cheesy movie again.
If that is the case than he is possibly GOAT superhero besides the great Bale.

He was good, but the movie sucking doesnt automatically make the performance legendary.

Just look at how the Academy votes...

While it's true that Ben Affleck put on the greatest Batman performance ever seen on film, including Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer, it was not enough to save this move, that's how bad the rest of the movie was.
Jesse Eisenburg single-handedly dragged this film down. Superman was cool but he wasn't given much cool things to do.
I'd rather see a Batman/Wonder Woman movie then a Justice League movie coming up. Or just more solo Ben Affleck Batman movies.

Best actor? No. But this is one of the best comic book movies in my opinion. And hyped up the dc universe big time.
