Most people on ISH weren't even born then, but it was a seminal moment in my life. I was 16, a former Lakers fan, and I just knew these cats would prove everyone wrong. No one really even pretended to show them respect when they landed in Dallas but I always knew better.

If you look through the videos when Dirk was drafted (traded on draft night for Tractor Traylor), you could tell that casual fans and 'experts' knew absolutely nothing and were only focusing on a certain aspect of his appearance.

And the rest is history, folks.

the Warriors have an ORTG of 114.5 which is +8.4 above the league average.

That wouldn't be the GOAT offense either. That title belongs to the 2004 Dallas Mavericks led by Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki. The Warriors would be tied for 2nd with...you guessed it, the 2005 Phoenix Suns led by Steve Nash.

Top 5 offenses ever
1. 2004 Dallas Mavericks - (+9.2)
2a. 2005 Phoenix Suns - (+8.4)
2b. 2016 Golden State Warriors - (+8.4)
4a. 1997 Chicago Bulls - (+7.7)
4b. 2002 Dallas Mavericks - (+7.7)
4c. 2010 Phoenix Suns - (+7.7)

Bolded = teams Steve Nash was on

Shit, man, I despised that 03-04 Mavs squad.

02-03 was the most fun and exciting iteration of the Mavs I have ever seen. Sure, 10-11 was by far the most dominant but there was just something whimsical about the 02-03 squadron.

Top 5 Goat Offensive Player :applause: .

He wasn't even a bad defensive player, he took charges and shit. If he were black and equally shitty on defense he wouldn't have taken all the heat he was tossed by the media.

Who we talking about ?

If Dirk , yes ; it's like Bird's .

But Nash was bad defender .

However , i agree with your point . If a player is white , people have bias to him about athleticism, defence, power etc ..
