Why do liberals make such a big deal over Republicans having affairs?

Like Clinton and Kennedy are seen as almost cool by the left for their extramarital affairs. Yet Republicans get torched by the left for having affairs.

Ok I do get this, it's because most Republicans preach morality and religion, so it screams hypocrisy. What I don't get, is that this guy was one of biggest morality preaching, finger wagging, pedestal towering, bible thumping hypocrite adulterers of all time, who was an actual PASTOR, and he's seen as someone beyond reproach by the left. In fact if you even mention his faults, 99% of liberals will instantly label you a racist.

Liberals of today hate the Republican Dr. MLK Jr.. His "I have a dream" speech is one giant microaggression going by SJW Democrat guidelines. It was the lying under oath part, not the adulterer part. Which btw is why Clinton was disbarred. I personally think the Republicans made fools out of themselves going after Clinton's infidelity when they couldn't nail him on Whitewater. I also think he was very lucky not to have been at least been arrested with all the women who said he sexually assaulted them.

sounds like you're very conveniently forgetting various morality attacks that cons have made against liberals through the years.

the clinton witch hunt in particular was the prototype of a massive orchestrated attack against the other side, despite that getting nothing positive done for the country as a whole.

that's certainly not the first time that's happened in american history and simply can't be exclusive to the GOP.
