Very quiet humble. Smart with his money. Doesnt let success get to his head. A true student of the game and works his ass off on both ends of the court!!

I hate the spurs but i love this guy!!

Yeah pretty much. Not being cocky does not equate likability. Still, I kinda like Kawhi.

His humble shtick comes off a lot more genuine than it did when phony KD and Rose tried it.

I think that 95% of nba player's outward appearance is contrived, kawhi is one of the very few exceptions.

he genuinely seems to just not care about any of the side shit, just basketball.

In a weird way Kawhi reminds me of Larry Bird personality wise. The guy is all business all of the time, serious as hell and has very old school work ethic.

are you talking comparing a vocal leader and big trash talker like Bird to one of the most quiet star player there is? Bird was pretty outspoken and liked to get in his opponents head

I am just talking about his attitude and the approach to the game. Both guys are serious as hell, have little time for the media or anything else besides basketball.
