Towns is already one of the best big men in the league and a bonafide all star caliber player. Next year he will very likely make his first all star team and very shortly he'll be superstar, not just a star. He'll be a top 5 player in the league in a few seasons. His skill set along with his size and athleticism, as well as his mentality, is just too good. The guy can play in the post like a traditional big man, he can consistently take his man off the dribble, he's already an excellent rebounder, he's already a good defender, he has range out to the three point line, he's an excellent free throw shooter (over 80%) so you can't hack-a-shaq him. When you consider his vast skill set and then you consider his excellent athleticism as well as his size, which is that of a traditional dominant big man, he has so many positives going for him at such a young age. His ascent to the top of the league seems almost destined.
Top 15 player already. A true stud. He is pretty much good at everything.

KAT vs KD for atleast 10 years? Im ready. The problem is, minny already has built good talent around KAT. Meanwhile AD is stuck with Gordon and Holiday :oldlol:

He is legit. After all the stock I put into Anthony Davis being a top 3 player this year...I will wait 2 years before declaring him top 5. But wow, the potential is incredible. Good time to become a Twolves fan for sure.

Not hard being one of the best centers in the league today when most centers today are extremely shitty outside of Demarcus Cousins.

Put towns on a team like the nets today and it's guaranteed they'd be formidable if unaffected by injuries.

Actually, he looked like a future MVP candidate and superstar when this thread was made, and the Timberwolves' future looked very bright.

He's still trending towards that tbh. He's a 25/10/5 60+%TS player and hasn't hit his peak yet. He's basically Kevin Love 2.0 for them and they're wasting away his best years. Hopefully he'll force his way out of that loser franchise.

And just like Love he plays no defense and doesn’t impact the W/L column. Good comparison.
