View Full Version : Klay Thompson having an amazing season...

22.4 on 47.2, 43.3, and 86.8. Another 40+ tonight.

He HAS to play this well if the Warriors are going to repeat. He only put up 16 on 41% in the finals last year and another performance like that will result in a loss for the Warriors, IMO.

The Cavs are way too stacked for Klay to repeat last year's finals.

Can't afford to have that this season.

I agree that if he wants to win another ring he is going to have to put up better stats than 15/4/1 like he did in last years finals.

His play is MUCH better than those stats suggest.

He was terrible the first month of the season, but is averaging 25 points a game over the last 40 or so games.

I just realized that after today, he needs to make 3.8 threes/game in order to beat Stephen Curry's second-best record for most threes in a season...

Yeah...a team with 70+ wins can't have that because Curry completely carries them right? Considering what you do actually post...I'm curious to read what doesn't make the deadline in your ****ing silly bitch mind.

I agree. 25/4/2 since December which is 50+ games. On 48/44/88% too...my man

Just posting on the other thread.. Pretty sure he would have 24-25PPG if you remove the first two months of this season. Count those as last season, Klay improves a lot more. :pimp:

Think he'll play a lot better in the playoffs this year.

It's like having Ray Allen play with Steph Curry - sh*t is crazy!

The two best three point shooters ever on one team.

I think its sad you assume the cavs are making the finals.....i can 99% guarantee you that they wont. I can 99% guarantee that ISH is gonna explode when they witness the meltdown of the cavs this postseason.

Hell just listen to the interviews LeBron has been giving lately. what has he been saying???? "This is as healthy i have been in a while". Yea that makes the stans feel good but if you look deeper....you will find a guy that knows his back is against the wall and his teammates aren't on board or he feels his teammates aren't prepared for the journey to win it all.

Wait damn you got me. You trolling!!!

Meltdowns of not making the Finals ? Eh, sure.

It should be interesting to see what people's reactions are going to be a team other than the Cavs make the Finals out East, but it probably won't happen.

did i stutter? Yes NOT making the finals. If you look at the east this year you will see that its as competitive as it has ever been. New coach.....has he ever prepared for a playoff game as the main guy??? Can he make adjustments???

With chris bosh back the heat are FAVORITES...the raptors i feel can steal one at quicken loans....of course the cavs can steal one in Toronto but my point is...its gone be far from a cake walk.....i even see them running into problems early on. If the bulls could get their shit together they would be one hell of a first round challenge for the cavs...if not....i think the pistons would give them at least a 6 game run. As of today they would have a second round matchup up with either the celts or heat.....caVs fans should pray for the celts because the heat would finish the cavs in 5. BET

Nobody is close to LeBron from an individual standpoint out East. He can change the outcome because he's who he is and he's pretty much the guy calling the plays. I bet Lue hardly has any say in things.

Bosh hasn't even been signaled to comeback yet. It was reported he was still on blood thinners 3 days ago... how does he comeback and make the Heat contenders without much time to gel with new teammates and a new role ?

The Bulls are on life support right now and are playing terrible defense. Bit late to "get their shit together", but okay... LeBron last year did pretty a good job with a worse team disposing of them. A worse Bulls team is going to give them "one hell of a challenge" to a better Cavs team in the first round ?

Celtics ? Maybe they push a 5th game this year, but just don't have enough talent. The Hawks should be over them and the Hawks weren't as good a year ago.

Everyone else is irrelevant because they are either overachieving or just 1st round fodder.

The Cavs are the most stacked team in the NBA with the biggest payroll. The east is an absolute joke and everyone knows it.

Detroit can be erratic. Cleveland in 4.
Boston has improved but still don't have a go to wing player. IT is very good but this Boston team lacks something. Cleveland in 5
Toronto has improved but is still not quite scary. Cleveland in 6
Miami is a match up issue for them and built to challenge them. Cleveland in 6.

Outside Miami, they probably sweep all those teams.

Toronto wouldn't take the lead in the game at any point in the series.

Its never too late to get your shit together...did you just started living life this year or something? Not tryin to be rude or anything but seriously who are you to say its too late?? One thing you cant deny is that the bulls HAVE the talent.....they just have to get it together...if they don't.....THEY DONT...not gonna count them out though.

I agree about the Celtics they are overachieving

never brought up the hawks...so that's irrelevant

I didn't know bosh had new TEAMMATES........u mean one lil teammate by the name of joe Johnson.....the same guy who has already pretty much fit in since day one and actually made the team BETTER on arrival? OK

And of course no one is on lebrons level individually...I thought bball was a team sport though......yea I know. What im sayin gis that this cavs team is no different than the cavs team he had in 07-10.....a band led by a lead singer.......except this time with so much pressure to "deliver for Cleveland", "an all star studded" cast (allegedly) to go along with it.....everything is pointing to the cavs failing miserably and im not even blaming LeBron because I think he is gonna come out and average some crazy numbers during the playoffs but like we saw in the 14 finals and 15 finals...when LeBron is doing EVERYTHING......WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS?????

His teams aren't that successful!!!! And lets not forget the east was as weak as a middle school bball divison from 2010-2014....and its not up for debate. So comin gout the east from 2010-2014 was a given...even last year....their ecf matchup was an overachieving hawks squad that got PEAK years from Teague and korver????? oh and carroll. SMH.....OK

I would not sleep on Miami. Miami has been built over the last 1.5 years to challenge cleveland. Every move Riley has taken has been to essentially try to beat Cleveland.

versatile 3 man that can defend and play 4 in Deng.
athletic big rim protector in Whiteside
half court slow it down clutch shooter in Joe Johnson.
athletic bench that can score in green and johnson.
crafty scoring PG in Dragic.
Wade.
Bosh can cause issues in small ball with Love trying to defend him.
