Even if they drop all the away games they still tie the record, but they won't because they play Memphis who have a team of scrubs right now

Warriors are gonna turn it up. Its a chance to make history!! We may never see this kind of season again. Looking back to 2011. Who would have ever thought the warriors of all teams would do this in just 5 years!!!

im not the biggest lebron fan (although i think he is a top 10 player all time, but not top 3), but if lebron wins against the heat and spurs/gsw he is def. top 3 all time for me.

but i highly doubt that they win against gsw or especially the spurs

We're already resting players in anticipation for the play offs. Curry already out of steam. Spurs in 6.

Cleveland & Spurs are resting for playoffs, while the warriors are working on regular season records.

if golden state dont win the title, this record will end up meaningless.

Chill homies! Curry plays like 33 minutes a game and this team goes 10 deep all the time

If they push towards record and starters get burnt out does Kerr take the blame ?

Would be weird if that happens since the starters have a low MPG ratio. Just checked.
26. Green, 34.5MPG
33. Curry, 33.9MPG
40. Klay, 33.1MPG
77. Barnes, 30.4MPG
??. Bogut (he averages 18-20MPG)

http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/minutes/sort/avgMinutes

If the Warriors break all their records, Curry & Green can rest vs Memphis on the last game. They would have full 5 days of rest. Layup conartist chuckster Barnes doesn't need rest, neither does Bogut. Maybe rest Klay as well.

I'm a little worried about the emotional burden but I agree on the actual physical rest.

I think they may avoid The Spurs which would ensure an easy road. Should be a good playoffs, if they meet tho.

Too bad, they should have 8 losses by now, that Bucks game was rigged. So for me, they'll probably never break the record, as I see them losing 2 games, here.

As a Spurs fan, here's what I'm hoping happens:

1. Spurs win out, 70-12, 41-0 at home.
2. Warriors win out except 2 games to Spurs, 73-9, 40-1 at home
3. Spurs beat Warriors in WCF.

The Warriors have a chance to beat the 72 win record by the Bulls.

People giving the Spurs too much credit when they couldn't even win convincingly at home with the warriors on a b2b down 3/6 best players. Spurs fans are as obnoxious as every other fan base.

Yah but holding Curry to the worst 3-point shooting game of his career is pretty impressive, considering the season he's having.

In fact, it was one of the worst 3-point shooting performances of all time.

Spurs beat Golden State and made Curry have a nightmare game, I don't expect them to play starters vs them. Pop doesn't care about records, he's going to play the bench against them both times.

I could see Memphis potentially squeaking out a win though.

Yea, I don't think Pop plays the starters either. The only way i see it happening is if GSW mysteriously loses two games before the first SAS game...and that isn't happening

I could see Pop wanting the Warriors to have the record. Puts more pressure on them in the playoffs.
