Given he started the season around the 45% mark he has been shooting lights out the last two months. Now he is shooting 51.4% for the season and if he keeps it up that will break his record of 51.2%...

Ended up having a very efficient season after people started to call him out on his efficiency.

Reducing volume will most often increase efficiency.

He has been scoring more on greater efficiency the last month or so.

In Portland nearly half of his shots were long range turn around fadeaways or contested step back jumpers as the offense was basically built around him catching it in the high post to either pass to a shooter or for him to create his own shot. Now he's getting a ton of open mid range jumpers and low post opportunities -- especially from Duncan's genius passing to him from the top of the key area. Dude has become such an all around player this season and he'll likely have his best season of his career next year. This year has also been a major increase in his defense. Dude is absolutely elite at the moment and is a major reason the Spurs are having a historic season (Kawhi is a slightly better player because of his DPOY defense but he really overshadows LMAs abilities/importance.)

Well he's also getting more baskets near the hoop...about 10% more shots are within 0-3 feet as opposed to the previous season on the Blazers.

Not Kevin Love
Well, LeBron making you a full time 3 point shooter doesn't help percentages though.

It's the system, this is undeniable proof.

Kevin Love 3 point attempts per game-
2014: 6.6
2015: 5.2
2016 5.6

Here take this, L.

On topic, he's in the 2nd GOAT system on a stacked teams, what do expect.

Imagine if Duncan retires and they sign Taj Gibson or maybe even Al Horford

It's not that i care that much but i guess his overall attempts decreased more than his 3point attempts.
