Since Sam has gone to the KAT-Dieng-Wiggins-Lavine-Rubio line up the kids are playing 500 ball and competing nightly.

Damn that is young!

Wiggins with 32 tonight, KAT with hioghlight reel material.

Add Buddy Hield to that shit and turn Lavine into an electric Jamal Crawford at the six man and we got playoffs.

The Wolves have a hell of a future. They drafted extremely well (Getting Wiggins for Love as well). The right way to build a team.

This, but the question is how difficult it will be for a small market team like Minny to keep this group together when theyre all up for extensions. Theyre not gonna be competing for a title in the next couple years. By the time theyre mature enough to do so, theyre gonna have a roster full of guys looking to get paid. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Still iffy about Wiggins, he can score but he seriously needs to expand his all-around game. Questionable on defense also.

Good for them needing 2 consecutive #1 pick ROYs to turn things around :applause:

Iffy because you are expecting bran straight out the box.

Defense will be fine, the Wolves need to play better team defense. People were crapping on his free throw shooting too, but he did alright there tonight.

Every area he has taken heat on, he has addressed.

Future is bright.

it is true though. it seems like wiggins' focus is lacking at times or something. i've seen plenty of wolves fans say rubio has been the second best player on the team behind KAT since the all-star break.

he's in his second year and expectations are obviously high but i'd like to see some more consistency next year. get the jumper down. honestly feels like lavine has been making greater strides in that area.

that said, obviously a young talented nucleus that has a bright future together. KAT is the next great superstar. get a stretch 4 that can pass and play a bit of defense? they'll be looking real nice....

He is up 4ppg, his 2pt% is higher and he is the primary ball handler during the clutch.

He has never missed a game at the age of barely 21 in two seasons, and he played the last two summers, he might be tired.

I am not sure what people are expecting. Lavine has been getting a longer look since the ASG because the Wolves need to decide on him. Previously his defense and bball IQ were too pathetic to keep him around but he has shown enough spark that he might be worth the effort.

Wiggins took heat last week for not getting to the line and making free throws, went 17/21 last night.

He is very close to putting it all together, and when it happens he is going to be a top 5 player in the league.

At the end of their rookie contracts they are going to be RFAs and sign a standard 5 year extension so thats 9 years to bring it all together

Wiggins is too one dimensional

Needs to get some boards/assists/steals

By implementing a winning culture like the Spurs.

But if they become players that we expect them to be... they'll start competing in a couple years like the Thunder did with KD and WB.

LOL @ it might be worth the effort to keep Lavine around. The kid has been a stud since day one, he just needs time to continue to mature physically and mentally. Most promising shooting guard the Wolves have ever had and he's a total gym rat/loves the game.
Wiggins has all the tools, but I question his determination. He has a laid back personality and I'm not sure he has the drive to be great. He's a bit on the beta side.

Well they only reached one finals, which was when Harden was there. But then they lost Harden cause they couldnt afford to pay him, which is basically what Im getting at with the Wolves. Not sayin they dont still have a great future. Just that theyre gonna have to make some tricky decisions that could make or break them as a title team.
