I didn't think it would come down to this but if we lose this game then we won't qualify for the World Cup. This is a must-win or we face not qualifying. We were a soccer powerhouse in the last World Cup but things have fallen badly because of the dumb German coach who pretends he's an American. The team plays with no heart and they are starting to resemble the country of Germany.


With a loss tomorrow night effectively leaving us needing two wins and results from Saint Vincent and The Grenadines in order to go through. SPI has the odds of this happening under 10%.

A draw would be better, but still around 50/50.

A win would push the odds to over 95% and be a collective sigh of relief. It's a must win for a country of our stature.

Bill Hamid is their natural successor but the two most talented GK prospects are currently Ethan Horvath (Molde) and Zack Steffen (Freiburg). Horvath was excellent in Europa League against Ajax, Fenerbahce, and Sevilla. Look up Steffen's performance in the u20 World Cup.

The best up and coming MLS based goalkeeper is probably David Bingham, who recently got his first cap.
