Toward the end of last week, a generous and proactive poster helped to support my business initiative by purchasing a fundraising sticker straight from my website. Which was quite helpful, confirming that the online store was setup properly, and everything went off without a hitch! I wanted to send a Thank You PM, but of course PM's are down so I've got to do it on the main board.
Also as some of you know, another poster, UK2K made a very kind contribution to the GoFundMe a few weeks back, and I was proud to send him a Boycott PC item as well. I've managed to sell a few of them around town as well, so while the process is going slow - it is indeed going.
Just want to remind, and basically plug what I'm doing here since I haven't in a while. Also, mods please be understanding that I'm not some random spambot, but an ISH regular telling others about his project.
I'm trying to get a business started that provides an alternative to the current corporate outlets, which almost all advance nefarious political agendas, leveraging political correctness and the lobbying of establishment political candidates to grow themselves at the expense of American values and long-term health of American citizenry.
Nothing will change if we don't turn our support away from these businesses. They're too powerful. And they don't put you first. If 99% of their customers are upset about something, even if it's completely justified, they will not acknowledge it if it means alienating more potential customers from other cultures, countries, etc. In fact they use the money from YOUR revenue not to make their products and services better, but to chase after these new markets. And they try to stuff everyone together under the same consumer umbrella, even unwillingly.
They also have extremely outdated hiring practices which perpetuate this college education bubble we have. They don't take the merit and character of the candidates into account - they simply look at a resume checklist of whether the person went to school, and which one. Considering institutions all over America are being forced to lower their standards to let in more people of "underserved backgrounds" (but only ones of color, poor whites get no such special treatment) degrees have become increasingly meaningless. And increasingly expensive. Increasingly overvalued. Increasingly wastes of our youth's time, money, and experience. A business I run will expect that candidates can articulate and demonstrate what they KNOW or can DO to deserve a particular position. And I wouldn't care a whit how they came to learn it, know it, do it.
But again, if we don't support businesses that care about American customers, and values, and are willing to give job-seekers freedom from bloated classrooms with tenured professors and inflated tuition costs, the cycle of madness just keeps on keeping on. We have to MAKE IT CHANGE. And the only way to do that is to support businesses that do it the right way, and shun those who don't. Currently, there are virtually no alternatives to the ones who don't. THey're all doing it in counterproductive fashion, simply because it brings them the most money. I want to create a biz that's principles-first. And hopefully people will support it.
Anyone who is willing to help me continue to work on this process has my eternal gratitude as well as my commitment to getting it done. Any personal info given on an order form is 100% confidential. I'm already registered with the IRS and my municipal government, so there's no messing around. If DeuceWallace gave me his address I wouldn't share it. Further, if you don't use your ISH handle on an order form I have no idea whom I'm sending to anyway. If you feel like helping out, the product page is right chea! (http://www.boycottpoliticalcorrectness.com/#!blank/lo4v7/1a2d7e83-4bef-31d5-09e1-3326ee271c09) If you'd like to donate but don't really care to be sent a sticker etc. the GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/boycottpc) is still up and support is very appreciatively welcome.
Thanks again to those who have helped get this ball rolling!
