The Spurs have the best defense in the league, and their offense is better than most of the teams too. Defense is what is needed to win in playoffs games, not mentioning Spurs have Gregg Popovich, by far the best coach in the current NBA.
The Spurs are having a historical season, and they are only overlooked because the Warriors steal their spotlight. Nonetheless, this will change when playoffs come, as Spurs beat Warriors in six games and then crush Cavaliers in five games.
I can guarantee you that the Spurs will win 2016 NBA title, I said it in 2014 that they would win, and they did it convincingly. Now there's no reason to doubt that the Spurs are the best team in NBA, when it comes to playoffs time. If Durant joins them in summer, it can easily be a new dynasty in the making.

They might not even get past the Thunder in the 2nd round. They won't beat the Warriors.

Let's do this.
I think the best thing for the Spurs is that they have established themselves over the last few years as a top landing spot for free agency. The deal with LaMarcus Aldridge showed this, and the Spurs will not need to worry even after Tim Duncan retires.

Well the Thunder will win one and only one game in the semi-finals(Game 3 at OKC), if they make it this far. Spurs in 5, and I smell at least two blowout Spurs wins in San Antonio(Game 1 and Game 5 at SA).

I am honestly one of the select few who thinks OKC knock out the Spurs in the WCSF.

I can't see any way possible, other than Durant or Westbrook getting injured, that the Spurs get past OKC in the second round

The Spurs haven't lost a home game all year. For OKC to win the series they'd have to not only win one in SA, but also win every game in OKC. Is that possible? Sure, but highly unlikely.

Ban me if the Warriors don't win, same as last year (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11454923&postcount=9) :confusedshrug:

The Warriors are very good, but the Spurs are so great that they aint losing to anyone this year.

Spurs won't beat GSW without homecourt. They barely beat GSW when Curry and Klay had their worst games of the season. GSW in 6 if that series happens, but I'm on record saying OKC will beat SA in the 2nd round.

If they keep getting some of the best players each summer, then yeah no shit there will be a dynasty. :facepalm I find it hypocritical that people get pissed at leBeta for wanting to build a superteam while for Spurs it's totally ok.

I'm having a hard to understanding how anyone could predict a team to win a series without HCA against a team who hasn't lost a single home game all year. I'm not saying it can't happen, but it seems foolish to predict that it will. Like I said before, they'd have to win AT LEAST one game in SA, and that's assuming they win every home game.

LOL...Curry missed countless shots he regularly makes. Look what happened when they played in GSW. I don't think GSW could play worse than that and the game was close with 2 mins left.

When a team hasn't lost a home game all season, I'd say HCA is pretty significant.

They played like that cause it was a back to back. Too bad there's none in the playoffs :oldlol:

the problem with with the Spurs is their either going to have to play OKC or LAC before they play the Warriors. that could help them by raising their level or tire their old asses out.
