4) Russell Westbrook
5) Kevin Durant
6) Chris Paul
7) Kyle Lowry
8) Damian Lillard
9) Draymond Green
10) James Harden
That's how I think the voting will break down, anyways. Harden was more of thrown in. Could be replaced by someone like Millsap or Kemba Walker because of their teams having winning records.
Westbrook and Durant will definitely take votes from each other, hence why they wouldn't be Top 3.

Curry will win no doubt . Durant as good as Lebron/Kawhi right now but he won't get many votes as them cause Thunder .
Curry at #1
Kawhi at #2
Lebron at #3

And I can't believe so many people overrate Westbrook so much.
Durant is clearly the most important player on that team.
A generation of box score dummies, I guess. "Oh wow, so many trip dubs!"

CP3 is way underrated on this board. He is having a phenomenal year even with Blake missing most of it.

Curry should be unanimous but Kawhi will steal a vote or two, especially if the Spurs beat them again near the end of the season.

Racking up triple doubles isn't enough to me. By the same logic Cousins must be in top 5. Is he? Clearly not. I think he could play way more intelligent. Best example was the warrior game... KD fouled out and this bonehead bricks everything by playing hero.

I know Westbrook is exciting and gets monster stats... But his team is 3rd place and he plays with arguably the best player in the world. I think fans are way too obsessed with stats these days.

Lol how can you compare Westbrook and cousins?? One plays for a 50 plus win team 3rd in the conference and the other won't and hasn't made playoffs in there career. You can't judge a player on one came or handful of games but the season as a whole. He wasn't even that bad in that warriors game they just didn't have as much depth as warriors when kd fouled out. The team is also 16-0 when he post a triple double.

Westbrook plays with Durant... Who he is going to lose some votes too.
Paul has been playing at a high level without Griffin for long porition off time and has only 2 above average players on his team in Redick and Jordan.

I know Curry will win, so I'm putting him first. But after that, I'm going to list in order of value as I see it, not as I expect the voting to turn out...
Curry will win
Bledsoe (Suns are 12-19 with him, 7-36 without)
Lillard
Paul
Cousins (Kings are 28-35 with, 2-10 without)
George

Replace Westbrook with an average NBA PG and the Thunder are still a top 4 record out West.

Replace Curry with an average starting PG and the Warriors are fighting for the second seed out west, and guaranteed a top 4 team.
.... and that's me after admitting Curry is the MVP.

And for anyone looking at the MVP as "league MVP", then there is a right answer. There is nothing it can be other than Curry first, Lebron second, Kobe third.

The Warriors are a way better TEAM than the Thunder, so that isn't saying much. You realize the Warriors have 16 more wins than the Thunder, right? :oldlol:
