I was inspired by the Jorts thread and Hateraid said he use to work at Guess.

My question is what has happened to this glorious fashion brand. I use to rock Guess jeans and Calvin Klein's in high school and they were high end jeans at the time.

Are they expensive to today's millennial fashionistas?

The triangle though.

It's what happens when stores build stand alone brick and mortar stores. It gets diluted and watered down. Tommy Hilfiger started to become really popular and people migrated to that brand. It stood a while with Guess, Buffalo, Levi's, Tommy, and CK holding it down. then higher end designers dedicated to marketing a more fashion forward with emphasis on the back pocket took over. Led by Tru Religion, Diesel, 7 for All Mankind.... really took off.

I loved my time there. Fashion retail was so much fun. I got a ton of attention since I happened to be the only straight guy working there. The protocol was to only hire modelesque women so I was constantly surrounded by 9s and dimes all fighting for my attention.

Put on a tight shirt and its over.

Anyways, Guess was the brand back in the days with CK Jeans. I'm inspired to go pick up a pair.

I just picked up a pair. The outlet here always has an additional 40% going. Picked up a pair for $30. For sure an iconic logo. For the price you are getting damn good quality. Makes me miss my employee discount.
