Honestly, Mike Brown, Mike D'Antoni, and Byron Scott all deserve a fair shake after CoachKillerBe is gone. These guys have all won CoTY. Can't judge them based on the time they spent handicapped by 12be.

Thibs or an up and coming college coach who can grow together with the new core. Walton would be acceptable as well, I just don't see him leaving GS.

Thibs would have them all playing 40+ min a game. They would be broken down and deteriorating by age 26

Kobe as coach would be sick, doubt it would happen immediately after retirement though. Thibodeau is a great candidate, look at the bulls now. :lol :lol

I like this, but I can't see Blatt accepting a role as assistant coach. I would LOVE for Thibs to be our head coach though, our players have all the talent in the world with no sense in direction, playmaking, or defense. Thibs would shake all that up and the results would be a lot different than they are now.

As for the "running players into the ground" argument, our core is all under 23 years old. Russ and Randle can't buy beer yet, along with our eventual top 3 pick this upcoming draft. I'm not worried about them running around for 35+ minutes, I much prefer that than seeing Ryan Kelly get 20 minutes of play.

I want Luke. I would be open to a college coach but there isn't a lot of Brad Stevens out there.
Thibs would be the safe choice but I feel like his offenses are too iso heavy, witch is exactly why I hate Byron's offense. Plus he has poor minutes management. Yes, they're young and can handle but it brings injuries. Derrick Rose first major injury was because Thibs was playing him in a already finished game

Luke Walton has the makings of a solid head coach. Young, relatable, but also not a push over.

Blatt would be a good coach to grow a team. Lakers are removing strong personalities on that team so he would be able to coach and focus more.

Get Lebron.
Why? So he would leave the coach chair empty in the Finals and give excuses like "my car broke down" or "I have back problems and couldn't make it" when he goes 2/5.:lol

Steph Curry -

About 10 years from now he will be an assistant coach to Pop.
then he will travel around the league as an assistant for another 3 years , so
YEP thats about right 20 years from now LAKERS will want him.

Luke Walton or bust. I don't want anyone else but him. He has the right mental make up, the self confidence to command respect and the right philosophy to be a great coach.

Lol at Thibs. This is the same guy that runs his guys to the ground and doesn't care about offense. He is in the wrong era. No way do I want him.

Blatt. His offense is actually great. The Cavs under Lebron just refused to learn it and run it properly.
