The GOAT South American Player. He's like the Argentinian Michael Jordan. And He was already 25 yrs.old when he made his NBA Debut. Can you imagine if he started his career in 1999?

No. Screw him. Him and Tony Parker are a pain to watch. There are only so many head snaps and falls to the ground I can put up with.

He's salty because Ginobili took over game 5 of 2014 Finals.

One of the most overrated players ever.

People say he's a sure fire hall of famer.

Meanwhile...

Regular Season Career Averages:

14 PTS, 4 AST, 4 REB on 45% FG

Postseason Averages:

15 PTS, 4 AST, 4 REB on 43% FG

Pretty pathetic for a supposed "perennial Hall of Famer" and "Top 10 SG of All Time" :lol

If Ginobili would've come into the league in 99 he probably would've broken down even sooner than he has.

We're talking about a dude who's only played more than 30 MPG TWICE in his entire career. Brittle and not very durable.

Dude hasn't even cracked 20 PPG ONCE in his career.

He's more of a Lamar Odom level player. Really good, but not HOF worthy.

The only reason he'll even sniff the HOF is for the same reasons Sabonis made it, because of the international portion of his career that only f*gs like Euroleague care about.

And don't even mention his 2 allstar selections in defense of him. Even Roy Hibbert made 2 allstar games.

I will however give him credit for beasting on the Pistons in the 2005 Finals. But even the sun shines on a dog's ass once in a while (see Cedric Maxwell in the 81 Finals; Iggy in the 2015 Finals, etc.)

lol you're such a clown.

He was one of the best go-to and clutch guys for years and could've easily put up Harden numbers as the undisputed leader of his team. And all with elite defense and toughness.

"Elite defense" yet not even ONE All Defensive Team selection. Even Larry Bird made a couple of 2nd teams.

If Ginobili played the same amount of minutes Harden does dude would've broken down quicker than Sam Bowie :lol

His career stats and min. played are truly decieving. So many of his points and minutes played changed the outcome of many games. So many clutch moments in his career ... Opposing coaches and players used to dread seeing Manu come off the bench and probably still do ......

Third greatest Spur of all time, consistently one of the best per-minute players in the league for almost a decade - and very influential in setting the tone for San Antonio's lockerroom.

Gonna be a terribly sad day when he goes (probably this season). He's given a lot to his team and the city.

Too bad he can't stay healthy consistently any more. Imagine prime Manu with this current squad. Heck, imagine any of the big 3 in their prime on this Spurs team.

He is just so crafty. Spurs drafting Ginobili and Parker made them a formidable team with Prime Tim Duncan.

I'm not getting this - greater than Duncan, Robinson, Gervin, Parker?

probably an easy choice to take him over 2 out of robinson/gervin/parker

honestly, i like manu (would love him if he wouldnt flop), but this might be the most overrated play of the decade.

it was the only possible shot Harden would take and he had no time to set it up any other way, Manu had all the time to prepare and go up for that knowing exactly where the ball would be. i think most players with the necessary height would or at least should make that block.

I would say NO choice. Surely you must be joking about Robinson. The only case might be over Parker - but while Parker was not as splashing/exciting, he was a tremendous work-horse for the Spurs, carried the team for several years and did exactly what Pop told him to do (which is more than I can say for Manu - who, imo, cost the Spurs at least 2 rings).

Gervin - 1st team All-NBA (5), 2nd team All-NBA (2), 2nd team All-ABA (2), All-Star (9), ABA All-Star (3), 4 time scoring champ
Parker - 2nd team All-NBA (3), 3rd team All-NBA (1), FMVP, All-Star (6)
Manu - 3rd team All-NBA (2), All-Star (2), Olympic Gold, 6th Man of the Year

I would argue that it's still impressive because Harden goes straight up like normal, underestimating Manu. I don't think a lot of players besides Manu would have the awareness of how easy that shot is to block and go for it. Many would be too scared to foul.

In the city of San Antonio Manu is the most beloved Spur, more than Duncan or Robinson.

So few players like Ginobili, coming off the bench yet always as a top contributor on title-contending teams.
