I'm gonna' have to go with the guy who wasn't carried to a ring by a non-allstar (Cedric Maxwell, only Finals MVP in NBA history to never even make an allstar game in his entire career)

I'm not comparing Wade to Bird, shit for brains.
BTW, I know you're a dumbass, but even you should know that Shaq played for Miami in '08 (half a season). Miami was 8-25 in the games he played. 19 win pace.
Also, stop deflecting, bitch boy. Respond to this:

dam Aj with the ethers. :oldlol:
Individually:
Larry Bird, he was the most skilled player i have ever seen. I think his peak was better aswell, but Kobe had better longevity.
Accolades:
Larry Bird, no need to pile up everything here, he had more significant accolades.
Kobe is close tho in both departments, both are in my top 10 list, Bird just a nudge higher up.

Kobe was a better lockdown defender than Larry, and I have them both Top 10 all time as players in general.......
But as far as overall defense and impact, I'll take Larry Legend every day of the week.....Saw both in their prime, and Larry just made much more of a difference......Watch the first 1:40 of this vid (and the whole thing), and educate yourself..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpEAZMT5t_U

The only perimeter player FOR SURE I would take over Bird peak wise is MJ. Magic, Bron, and Kobe u could make a case for as well. Due to making teammates better, I would choose Bird over Kobe. Even though Kobe is the superior two way player. Kobe would also catch cases of hero ball to the detriment of his team more than Bird EVER WOULD.
I realize Kobe played on some bad teams and had to get up shots. But Bird would make his teammates better than Kobe AND dominate scoring. If Bird wasn't playing on those deep Boston teams, I'M CONVINCED he would have took some scoring titles from MJ.

Shooting - Bird
Footwork - Bird
Rebounding - Bird
Passing - Bird
Leadership - Bird
Clutch play - Bird by a mile
There is not a single thing Kobe does better than Bird other than dunking, and that's only due to his natural god given athleticism. When it comes to actual basketball skill Kobe is not even in Bird's tier.

Ofcourse It Does Check out Bird`s Defensive Rating and Defensive Win Shares. All higher than Kobe`s (the most overrated defender ever).
