? Would be kinda funny with the farewell tour and all. If Dirk and Duncan also retire. Two players higher up on the all time list

Dirk still has a few more years in himself

Would help if Dallas got their act together and got a serviceable team around him

Maybe throw Hassan a huge contract

He'd work nice with Dirk upfront

Dirk wants to play 20 season, meaning he will play till 2018.

He recently said that in interviews.

I appreciate that they aren't milking their retirements unlike Kobe Bryant.

I think he would come back to try for the elusive repeat.

Dirk shouldn't retire still has game left in him and still has days when he is top 10. Duncan should probably retire, he is playing less and less and there is definitely some signs of him slowing down now. My guess is he retires, with a DPOY and a last ring to go.

If they won in 2013 and 2014, I think he would have already retired.

Dirk had already said he wants to play out his contract so I doubt he retires.

I could see Duncan, KG, Pierce, Vince, and Manu retire after this year just like Kobe. Pretty crazy.

Don't see Dirk retiring tbh.

Duncan will if the Spurs win it all or go out early. If the get close (Finals or 6/7 game WCF series) I think he'll return for one more year.

Dirk can revert to a one-dimensional spot-up shooter and last another 5-6 years.

neither player would ever do a farewell tour...

Duncan would retire after he wins the chip this year.
The Admiral showed him how to do it.

Dirk will probably play another year.
He's been talking about going back to Milwaukee - something about unfinished business... :lol

Duncan might, regardless of if they win or lose. Dirk won't.

Would be great to see T.D. go out like D-Rob ... If they were to win the title this year, the lure to repeat would be big ...

They wont dare announce their retirement because they don't want to go through the embarrassment of having no one give a f*ck about them retiring except their delusional Stanleys.

It's like a loser kid who doesn't throw birthday parties in order to avoid the embarrassment of no one showing up at their party because no one cares about them.

Probably. But if he would have won in 2013 he would have also got another fmvp and been 5/5 . Walking at the point would have been perfect

Man that's rough, so many of our times best players in that list. Passing of an era with those players moving on, along with Kobe.

Dirk is still somehow a top 20 player, he can still play

Timmys done tho he's as done as KG just has amazing circumstances like always. Not even a top 5 player on his team anymore, kawhi, LMA, Manu, diaw, tony

Dirk is still a serviceable starter in this league. Last night Duncan was beyond washed up.
