Current Kobe isn't winning titles for anyone.

He hasn't been a net positive for 3 years. If fans want to say how incredible his 20 years in the NBA is, they have to also admit that the first one and last 3 were not NBA worthy.

But we are all but on the same page. I have no problem celebrating his accomplishments as he rides into the sunset. I'm just saying he isn't riding off as much as is dragging his dying corpse as he crawls towards the inevitable end.

The whole starting team of the Lakers is struggling, except for Julius. Kobe plays with those guys so his +/- won't be good. He had 28 against the Nuggets and 34 against the Celtics.

Felt like that when MJ hung em up that night in Philly. Just felt weird seeing him wearing a different Jersey but he got the reception he should have. And it sucked because the telecast sucked as well. ESPN NBA was horrible then. In 98 it didn't hit because of the lockout and I was too young to know what a lockout was and the ramifications it could set.
