Spurs will retool for the next game, which is in San Antonio.

11 players on the Spurs that shoot over 47% and they still can't handle GSW.

I just don't see the Spurs beating GS four times.
In their one loss, the Warriors were without Bogut and Iggy, and shot poorly. And it was still a close game.
In their two wins they romped to huge leads, and easily out-defensed the best defense in the league.
In fact, I am just as impressed with GS's defense, as I am with their offense. It's a suffocating defense that denies every pass, and stuffs the lane.
The stats don't lie. This year's Warrior team is putting up near-historical numbers. And the one that stands out the most...eFG% diufferential. They are currently outshooting their opposition by a staggering .563 to .481 margin. To put that in a better perspective...the '96 Bulls outshot their opponents by a .517 to .482 margin. Only the '71 Bucks margin of .509 to .424 is higher than this year's GS.
Simply put...Golden State is arguably the greatest shooting team in NBA history. But not only that, they are also a great defensive team.
Barring injuries, or a complete meltdown, they should romp to a title.

I find it amusing that there are those that suggest that teams have to slow the ball down to beat GS. So, instead of losing 120-100, they will lose 100-80.
IMO, the only team that has a prayer against the Warriors, would be the Clippers. And that's if Blake is 100%. They can at least run and score with GS. Their problem, though, will be in the battle of the benches, in which they have very little chance.

We got a chance if this man gets hot.

Basically. People dont realize that the warriors are almost perfectly assembled. They have the pieces the match any team when you include their bench.
How many teams have a point guard that can stop Shaun Livingston? :lol

You are 100% correct. Even Ezeli is a valuable player off their bench.
Not only that, but they can flood the floor with 3pt shooters.
And, as we have seen, they will also run teams to death.
Too much of everything.
Assuming they win the title, they will have a case as, at a minimum, a top-5 team of all-time.

The Spurs have one of the greatest defensive teams in NBA history, and yet, they haven't come close to stopping GS. Even in their lone win, the Warriors still had 30 uncontested shots, but could only hit 15 of them. In this last game, GS shot 21-24 on uncontested shots.
I don't see San Antonio holding the Warriors to four bad shooting games. Meanwhile, the Spurs have shot poorly in all three games against the Warriors.
It just doesn't look good for San Antonio.

Nobody has a shot at beating the Warriors in my opinion, but I'd say OKC has as good of an argument as the Clippers, if not better. OKC has shown they can score with the Warriors. OKC wouldn't be able to stop Golden State enough for it to matter, but they have shown they can keep up with the Warriors on the offensive end.
That, and Durant generally plays very well against the Warriors. Saw a thread on "that other site" where in 9 or 10 games against the Warriors the last three seasons, Durant is averaging something like 32-9-5 on damn near 50/50/90 shooting.

OKC has a chance against anyone if Durant gets hot.
The bench though, Durant + Westbrook will have to play 40+ MPG. Can they keep up for 7 games in a series?

Durant is a historically great and efficient scorer. And he has played well against the Warriors, too....BUT, in their seven H2H's in that last two seasons...GS has gone 6-1.
Think about that...with Durant playing as well against the Warriors as anyone...they still have very little chance. Now, what happens if KD is even off a bit. Completely hopeless.

Fortunately for KD he won't have to worry about all of this next season...

I thought the game in SA was pretty good. Great defense being played, close game.
Of course the Warriors had 2 blowouts in Oakland that weren't very entertaining.

That game in SA was deceptive, though. As an example, a couple of nights ago the Warriors went 21-24 on uncontested shots. In the game in SA, GS shot 15-30 on uncontested shots. Not to mention that they were missing a couple of key players.
I don't see the Spurs having a chance in a best-of-seven...particularly without HCA.

SA has the tools to defeat the Warriors. And imagine Pop doesn't want to show too much gameplanning in the regular season against GS.
Adjustments come in he playoffs. If they do meet, you will see the Spurs play differently than they have against GS, whether it will be matchups, sets, pace, etc.

Yeah, I think the Warriors would take a series. I just said I enjoy watching that game
