Doubt it. I think the team rests players more next year given they will already have the best record ever.

Wouldn't that just help? PER isn't effected by games played surely, so if Curry's getting a game off now and then rather then chasing the record wouldn't he be more refreshed and just go HAM

I mean he has looked visibly tired at times as of late

.
4 Reasons Curry isn't on Jordan's level:

1) This is Curry's first season as the NBA's best offensive player, compared to Jordan's 10 (in a row).

2) This is Curry's first season with 31+ PER, compared to Jordan's 4 seasons... And Jordan's 4 seasons were superior OVERALL as well:

Per 100 Possessions:

Jordan 88-91 (4 seasons): 42.2 pts.. 8.4 rebs.. 8.2 ast.. 3.9 tov.. 3.7 stl.. 1.3 blk.. 31.4 PER
Curry.. 2016.. (1 season).: 42.1 pts.. 7.7 rebs.. 9.4 ast.. 4.7 tov.. 3.0 stl.. 0.3 blk.. 31.2 PER

3) Jordan won rings while carrying a bigger load, even as an old man - we have stats for 34-35-year old Jordan in 1997 and 1998:

................PERCENTAGE OF TEAM POINTS SCORED WHILE PLAYER WAS ON FLOOR

.........................RS.....RS 4th.... PO....PO 4th....Finals.. Finals 4th

CURRY 2015..... 29.9 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/201939/stats/usage/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Regular%20Season)..... 36.2 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/201939/stats/usage/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&Period=4)..... 33.4 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/201939/stats/usage/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Playoffs)..... 36.6 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/201939/stats/usage/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Playoffs&Period=4)...... 29.3 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/201939/stats/usage/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=4)...... 40.6 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/201939/stats/usage/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=4&Period=4)

4) Jordan was the best on BOTH ends

Jordan's defensive impact dwarfs Curry's, especially against teams with great perimeter players, since Jordan can guard guys like Magic, Lebron, or Drexler, while Curry can only defend guys like Shumpert, Delly, etc.

There's a reason Curry didn't win FMVP in last year's Finals - he only did half the job, while Iggy did the other half (defense).

Otoh, MJ performed Iggy's duties on defense by guarding Magic/Drexler, while still having a goat offensive impact - Jordan's 2-way ability is why he has 6 FMVP's, compared to Curry's 0.

If Curry really wants the PER "title", he would get like 35 PER. But he's an unselfish player who thinks about the team also. He'd rather have the historical season record. Lebron can have his PER titles and have more L's.

Sorry, did Jordan win 72 games and have a 30+ PER? He stopped short at 29.xx

Looks like Curry easily takes this one.

If you put Curry on the 91 Bulls, he'll easily have 35 PER and average 40 points a game and the Bulls will probably have a better record, not 70 wins, but definitely more than 61 wins.

Hard? Holinger has low iq math . He failed on seperate assists and points vaLues as mathematically . And beside of math , he thinking blocks effect to the offence :( . And he did nothing about measuring the defence and yet fouls judge players in his mind . Irrevelant .

Btw , thinking math is greatest art of human life . But Hollinger didn't reach that art . You can see the ignorance about on his math and bball knowledge when looking detailed his formula .
