I'm done with this award for good. So subjective...Its tainted enough with kobe and shaq with onlyu 1 and nash with 2, this would just be the cherry on top. Ill give this award ONE more chance, ONE. You hear me Adam?

That would be noting but an utter scandal

Agree completely, Kobe deserved at least 3. This award is losing its credibility.

Please expound on what years Kobe should have won the MVP.

Why does Melo getting a vote in 2013 not stink more than Kawhi/Westbrook/LeBron combining for 1 vote this year?

Its the media voting for it. Someone is going to announce their stupidity in trying to make a name for themselves. That way they can write an article that gets picked up by national news.

Kobe could've won the MVP so many times, just that the media seemed to go against him every year. The Nash MVPs could've easily been Kobe's 2. 2008-2010 could all have been Kobe MVP years also.

Tbf Curry and Shaq are 10 times better than kobe. Not sure why your putting Kobe in the same sentence? You can make your point without ever making the mistake of putting Kobe in the same breath as two players leaps and bounds ahead if him:no:

NO. im a big kobe fan but he is at least 2-3 places behind jabbar. i dont let standom get in the way of my analysis, you dont become a good/credible poster if you do.

I agree.

Curry should be the first unanimous MVP.

He won't get unanimous. He will miss out by more than 1 vote.

Some of the voters don't even watch basketball. :lol

He is easily the best player on the clear cut best team and he is arguably the best player in the the NBA. He should get unanimous, he had it wrapped up months ago because the Spurs are more team oriented. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone gives Lebron a vote.

Retards like this are why Curry won't win unanimously.

The one he actually won wasn't actually "won".

If '09 and '13 LeBron didn't win it unanimously, then Curry shouldn't either.

GrapeApe

He won't, because as I mentioned in another thread, someone will jump on the chance to be a contrarian. It's safe to vote against Curry because it won't cost him the award. Just like HOF voters who never vote first ballot. The one thing I know about the media is someone always has to have (or pretend to have) an opposing view.

LeBron coasted through a joke conference and colluded to make it even more of a joke

Curry's 16 season is far more impressive than either of those

Lebron's record/stats against the West were better than Kobe's.

3 point shooter, who can only score because of all the illegal screens. Not to mention another ATG 3pt shooter and a plethora of All-Def level defenders.

Some voters will give LeBron some because "Take him off the team they miss the playoffs blah blah" and "Take Curry or Kawhi off their teams and they still make the playoffs blah blah."
