Jordan's 1991:

32.0 PER

127 ORtg

0.333 WS/48

These are the best stats ever achieved by a #1 option while winning a championship.

Curry won't match Jordan's 1991 postseason, considering he fell short of Jordan's 1991 REGULAR season (lower PER, win shares, offensive win shares, PPG - you name it)

You should give Curry his respect.

He's surpassed Bran.

Making fun of Bran is the key.

Played in a garbage ass era.

Today's era is the BEGINNER VERSION of the game:

wide open spacing, hands-off perimeter defense, no paint-camping, no flagrant fouls or physicality

Previous eras were the ADVANCED VERSION of the game:

no spacing, hand-checking, paint-camping, flagrant fouls and physicality

Curry >>> Ordan.

Jordan was a better shooter than Curry inside 20 feet:

it's the other way around.
The defensive and offensive tactics are twice as complicated was it was 15 years ago, let alone 20.
None of the teams pre 00 would survive against current warriors or spurs in a 7 game series. That's just the cold harsh truth.
They were great for their time, sure, so celebrate them on a scale that they were actually on.

This is a higher level than mere rent-free. At this point, its rent-free while watching his wife and daughter get humped in his bed on a nightly basis.

Step away from the keyboard, sir.

The objective of today's X's and O's are to get 3-pointers, and over 2/3 of them are catch-and-shoot - today's players are better at ball-domination and catch-and-shoot, but worse at literally everything else..

Far less players, and a DIMINISHING number of players at the SG thru Center positions are capable of carrying an offense by creating their own shot over and over - they require a screen or a screen/roll-pop situation..

You might say less individual moves results in more teamwork, but it doesn't - it results in less individually-unique plays and passing.. Instead, passes and plays are robotic-looking where players aren't individually unique - the pursuit of catch-and-shoot makes players like monolithic checkers pieces on a board, where the most strategic movement of them on the court wins, NOT the most skilled creativity.

None of the teams pre 00 would survive against current warriors or spurs in a 7 game series. That's just the cold harsh truth.

The Bulls have the best #1 and #2 options, and match the winning championship experience of both the Spurs and Warriors combined.

So keep dreaming.. Even if you think today's X's and O's are superior, the Bulls have the superior #1 and #2 options, so their superior talent coupled with today's X's and O's would DESTROY the weaker #1 and #2 options of the Spurs/Warriors.

Btw, the triangle didn't allow ball-domination (extended live dribbling), which explains why today's players are incapable of running it effectively - they simply don't know how to score without pounding the rock at least 3 times first.. Again, players are better at ball-domination and catch-and-shoot jumpers, but they're worse at everything else, particularly individually-unique play creation.
