Kobe bryant is my 3rd favorite NBA player of all timez behind Iverson and Jordan. He had a a great career winning dunk contest, 5 rings, multiple all star selections, multiple all star mvps, all nba first team, 2008 season mvp, 2 time FMVP and the list goes on. He was the reason why I (and lebron) wanted to grow out a fro in the early 2000s. I remember buying his gold lakers jersey in summer 98 at a young age at 12 years old. I remember playing Kobe courtside whenever I spend the night at my cousins house when i was little. I will always put this guy in my top 4 of all timez cuz he battled and willed his team to victory especially when he was in his prime and healthy. Stayed with his team through 20 seasons even when tha going got tough (cough, cough). I'm going to miss watching a legend like this to be honest. Hate him or not you cant deny the positive impact he put on the game of basketball. I will miss you big bro Kobe aka MJ jr. You are glady appreciated man, thank you.

Always respected him. Hated him in the early 2000's. Philly boy winning championships for the Lakers.

Wasn't till he matured more that I really started to appreciate how unique he was and what he meant to basketball as a sport.

Respected when he said he would play for Italy in the Olympics, Mad Troll. He should have done it, lost a bit of respect there though.

Never would have thought in 96 he would be the best player in that draft, but is by far.

81 point game put him over in my mind. That was truly special. The best player since MJ. I rank him over LeBron. In ten years time Curry probably have a bunch of rings and MVP trophies and will exceed him. But right now he has the crown.
