This is crazy, wtf they protesting for?

In Homan Square on Monday night, police pulled over a car that was connected to an earlier shooting. Police say Pierre Loury jumped out and an officer chased him.

Police say Loury then pointed a weapon at the officer and that is when he was shot. But a witness claims he saw officers "high five" each other after the teen was gunned down.

Police say Loury was a documented gang member. He posted a picture of himself holding a handgun on his Facebook page. People who knew him, though, did not think he would have been carrying a gun Monday night.

I mean yeah the high five thing pretty f^cked up IF TRUE, but it's just a witness claiming, so someone tell me exactly what they would be protesting for?

Is this where his mom tells us how he was such an angel, he was a good boy, he made wrong choices

I'm not saying the police aren't at fault in EVERY one of these incidents, but when are the parents gonna stand up at actually take responsibility for their sh^tty parenting

He pulled a gun on an officer, tf did he think was gonna happen, either he ends up dead or the cop does

Like I said I know there's some crooked ass cops out there, but why are black people so quick to protest sh^t like this every time, but they don't wanna do anything about the black on black violence that happens every damn day

It's ironic this happened in Chicago btw :coleman:

If they were capable of that level of maturity and self awareness, they wouldn't be shitty parents in the first place.

Not a good protest. If you're a 16 yr old carrying a gun, you raise your chances of being shot like 1000% (sorry, made up stat but it might as well be something like that). But cops need to be able to shoot to disable the kid though. It doesn't have to be a kill shot. Shoot him in the arm or something.

It comes back to guns. Get them off the streets.

1.5 murders per day in Chicago. Why don't they protest that? Protest gang violence, protest against the killers in your neighbourhoods. Protest the gang culture and the lack of legit opportunities, and the decay of social values.

Or better yet, forget protesting. Organize your community. Teach your kids. Shame irresponsible parenting and drug dealing within the community.

Maybe 16year old kids won't feel the pressure of joining a gang and carrying a fire weapon.

yeah, yesterday morning i was driving through 16th street and it was completely blocked by police. i got home and looked it up they killed a kid.

ofcourse dumbass parents are going to blame everyone else besides them selves. Look at your kid, hes 16 and has tats like a gang banger. I got an ass whooping just for getting an earing at 16. dumbass parents. the real travesty is that sometimes these dumbass parents get rewarded for their terrible parenting.

He was armed and they're still protesting??

This is further proof that society is dumber than it was 40-50 years ago.

The sad part is that we reward these imbeciles.

Obama needs to drag Eric Holder out of retirement. One of his sons were killed again.

Because they don't work.

No job, plenty of free time, nice day out, probably a lot of low end losers in life who haven't accomplished anything so they are attempting to be part of 'something'.

Plus, more free shit. If they can keep guilting half the white population, more free shit will follow.

If I didn't have to be at work, I'd go too.

And regarding that...

I high fived people every time I killed an insurgent. My job was to eliminate the insurgency, so after a JOB WELL DONE and the fact that I am STILL ALIVE, yeah I high five the **** out of everyone within arm's reach.

Their job is to eliminate crime. By eliminating a threat, which was also a criminal, they did their job well. And they're still alive.

I see no issues with them high fiving each other. I don't see any issues with them celebrating at all, because all of them get to home to their families. I'd be pretty pumped too when, in your line of work, one bad call or, really, simple mistake, can cost you your life.

Sounds like some cry baby bitches bitching because they can, and because if you word it correctly, you can spin the high five into a 'yeah buddy we got another one' type mentality. But anyone who actually knows what's its like to have someone point a gun at you will tell you, you ****ing celebrate that shit when its over if you're still around.

Why not just say it aloud?

As much as I hate agreeing with right-wingtards, I have no problems manning up and saying that the first words that popped into my mind after reading the story and seeing the kid's selfie were "geez, I'd be high fiving too if I shot that stupid-looking punkass gangsta *****".

Those cops should get bonuses for weeding out trash like that from the gene pool.

Like a gang banger? In Chicago at 16, you're a vet in the game. These kids go through mid life crisis at the age of 11.

Yeah, you'd be surprised how excited you can be when your life is about to end, then it doesn't.

My life could have ended several times, but I'm still here. Sorry for being pumped.

It's all good, not everyone is meant for that sort of thing. Nothing wrong with that.

If heaven and hell do exist, I doubt I'm gonna be sent to hell for defending myself in a gun fight.

Because I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, I never shot at anyone who didn't shoot at me first.

If you're Damned to hell for protecting yourself, well, then I'm fooked.

Its not good that this moron got shot to death. Its not good that this moron was strapped in the first place. Its not good that the two people who birthed this moron so catastrophically and completely failed him in every way imaginable. We're supposed to do better than this for our children.

But infinitely worse is the idea that at a time when every move police officers make is subjected to unprecedented levels of scrutiny from headline-starved media and a largely ignorant peanut gallery (which I don't think is a terrible thing on the surface), people choose this incident to protest.

What happened here is what's supposed to happen when you point a weapon at a police officer. This is how its supposed to work. I'm not glad this shithead is dead...but I'm damn glad the police did their job.
