And I'm okay with it. Man, I was 16 when the dude came into the league. I'm 35 now. He could take 100 shots and I'm good. I hope he drops 50 on 100 shots.

7 for 20 so far. But he's got to enjoy it as these are his last minutes on the court in an NBA game.

I was 14 when he came into the league.

Hated Kobe at first...thought he was a square. Then in 2006, when I moved to San Diego for law school, he made 2 clutch ass shots against the Suns and then became a fan.

When you get away from LA you miss LA

Couldn't STAND him during their three peat years. Thought he was, as you say kind of a stiff and fake and let's be honest to a degree Kobe is kind of an acquired taste. He grew on me along the years.

Watching him now compared to lackadaisical younger players you really appreciate those players from the 90s and their grit. It's rarer and rarer these days

Garnett and Timmy are the last two left?

I agree. he grows on you. Couldn't stand him as well. Was an Iverson fan. Then you see all these emo *** boys in this league and you know Kobe is the GOAT.

Garnett, Timmy, Vince.

It's really funny but I remember Jordan's last game and even though I was in my early 20s the gravity with that. But this is something else as you grew and matured along with one player along the years and you remember the highs, lows and your own life along the years. You always had the Lakers to tune into with their drama and Kobe dropping big numbers along the years.

It'll be interesting to see what the youngers can do. I'm really hoping they can land a top pick because it's going to be one hell of a hole.

And yes I was a way bigger Iverson fan
