This man Bean was saving that game up for the last 3 seasons. Harnessed all the good basketball he had left in him for one last show. Also, weak era. Not surprising the Ghost of Kobe Bryant had to be the one to do it.

50 shots and the Jazz treated this as a celebration for Kobe.

And it was, but everyone here is acting like Kobe should come back.

:facepalm

I saw the Jazz play good defense on him. I don't know how many clean looks he had :whatever:

Do you know how talented you have to be to get 50 good shots?

If you actually watched that game then there is no way you can legitimately believe that- the Jazz were all over him all game long. He brought it and so did they. Dude brought out a large majority of his arsenal. Driving, fade aways, pull-up Js, etc. Even played good D for a lot of the game.

And no, I'm not saying Kobe should stay in the game (he would know better than anybody), but tonight was definitely a great ending and really made a great representation of him as a player and his career: scoring, shooting, defense (at times), game winner/go-ahead FG, clutch FTs, and leaving it all out on the floor.

Edit- one more point, a lot of those shots were actually good shots that just rimmed out or rolled. Most of his makes were nothing-but-net. Of course you miss some, you make some- just saying he was hitting some good shots and a lot of close misses.

Edit 2- also, ****ing lol @ people trying to discredit this by calling out 50 shots. Everybody watching this game wanted to see that. His teammates wanted to see it too. He even got a few assists. And it's 44%, not exactly awful shooting (not great, but definitely not BAD).

Nah they were playing half-assed. The refs also let a lot of shit go at the end. Kobe was getting away with murder

why do people care about FG%...22 outta 50????

If you randomaly asked 50 chicks if they were DTF ...and 22 said yes....

that's a good%

2 or 3 either way would be 50%

That's not bad at all, especially given his age.

50 shots in an NBA game is your arms falling off unless you have 20 years of conditioning to pull that shit off.
