all that matters is the highlights show all the makes and his fg% for the game will get erased from history in a couple weeks

mamba leaves the lakers with another great money making final game documentary which all lakers fans will probably buy at 40 dollars a pop

Dominique Wilkins averaged 30 and 7 a game the year after he ruptured his Achilles...I always thought that was pretty amazing, and often forgotten.

Then the Hawks traded him for Danny Manning.

Bball-reference and espn and yahoo game logs aren't going anywhere.

Niether are NBA history books...which will have this game down as "most shots ever taken"

I never have been a Kobe fan, but I have to give credit where it is due. I think he is, and always has been overrated, but still a legend. It was very cool to see him go out like that, even if it was against my Jazz. Amazing game, amazing career. I will actually miss the old chucker
