Jordan's 1991 regular season was better, and his playoffs were on another level:
Per 100 Possessions
JORDAN 1991 RS: 42.7 pts.. 8.1 reb..4 7.5 ast.. 3.3 tov.. 3.7 stl.. 1.4 blk.. 60.4 ts.. 125 ORtg.. 31.6 PER.. 0.321 WS/48
CURRY 4 2016 RS: 42.5 pts.. 7.7 reb..4 9.4 ast.. 4.7 tov.. 3.0 stl.. 0.3 blk.. 66.9 ts.. 125 ORtg.. 31.5 PER.. 0.318 WS/48
JORDAN 1991 PO: 41.8 pts.. 8.5 reb.. 11.2 ast.. 3.4 tov.. 3.2 stl.. 1.8 blk.. 60.0 ts.. 127 ORtg.. 32.0 PER.. 0.333 WS/48
^^^ 1991 Jordan had a higher Player Efficiency Rating and equal points-per-possession, even though Curry's efficiency is boosted by carrying a smaller load on both sides of the ball:

Ultimately, Jordan achieved the highest honor (winning championship and FMVP), while carrying a bigger load on both ends, which makes efficiency arguments irrevelant..
Not that it matters - Jordan had equal points-per-possession in 1991 and 1996 (while carrying the larger load)
Jordan ended up being the FAR better shooter inside 20 feet:/I]

"Efficiency was the only thing Curry was better at"
Efficiency (on similar levels of volume) is the biggest part of the game.
Let me tell you something, I'm a better baseball player than Babe Ruth. The only thing he has on me is hitting.
I'm also a better track athlete than Usain Bolt. The only thing he has on me is sprinting very fast.

i dont see how proportion of points scored is the best way to guage offensive brilliance. Its obviously going to favor scorers that likes to chuck on slower, defensive teams , iverson, rose, mj etc. types, and penalize those who space, create, and facilitate for their teammates Curry, Bird, Dirk, etc

Proportion of points scored reflects scoring burden, and Jordan's was much higher than Curry's, as the stats show.
And obviously, if a player's scoring burden is higher, that puts downward pressure on his efficiency..
Ultimately, since Jordan reached the holy grail of basketball (winning championship and FMVP) while carrying a bigger load, who cares about efficiency.
Its obviously going to favor scorers that likes to chuck on slower, defensive teams , iverson, rose, mj etc. types, and penalize those who space, create, and facilitate for their teammates Curry, Bird, Dirk, etc
Creating spacing by shooting 3-pointers doesn't affect the size of a player's scoring burden - there's zero correlation there at all, but you just pulled it out your ass because it sounded good to you.

spacing allows others to do better, which in turn would lower star players proportion.
it's kinda like.. the same gap that exists between jordan and lebron in making others better, you know the whole reducing assist rates and such youre always talking about, that same level gap also exists between curry and jordan, and is obviously canyon sized between curry and bran.

When teammates perform well, that allows the team to achieve the highest margin of victory and SRS like Jordan's Bulls and Curry's Warriors did.. It doesn't lower the star's stats.
The stats of Jordan's teammates (Pippen, Grant, Kukoc) were the same with him or without him, showing that they played to capacity alongside him despite his GOAT scoring.. In any given year, they would play between 90-100% capacity alongside Jordan, compared to their 1994 stats without Jordan.
Otoh, many stars cause teammates to play at literally 50-60% capacity, like many of Lebron's teammates.
it's kinda like.. the same gap that exists between jordan and lebron in making others better, you know the whole reducing assist rates and such
Except Jordan didn't reduce his teammates assists - you're making shit up again:
................................................AP G, ASSIST %

As you can see, Pippen's assists WENT UP alongside Jordan.. Jordan's off-ball game was a reservior of assists for teammates to rack up off him - he was a walking assist waiting to happen for teammates.

exactly .. they were about the same w/ or w/o MJ. Draymond Green before Curry was just a defensive role player, and got opportunity to expand his assist rate / playmaking 1000% because of the spacing Curry generates along with his passing ability.
it's much more deadly to force doubles as far away from the basket as possible because it essentially creates a halfcourt fastbreak. Curry's gravity is unprecedented, and his individual efficiency blows MJ's away.
Well see if he can keep it up for playoffs, if so you will have witnessed GOAT offense my friend.

exactly .. they were about the same w/ or w/o MJ.
No - Pippen's assists were 6.5 with Jordan, and 5.4 without, as the stats show above.
Also, starting from Pippen's rookie year, his assists skyrocketed each year under Jordan's off-ball game and tutaledge just like Draymond's have under Curry's - it's the exact same thing.
But neither Draymond nor Pippen would've blossomed under Lebron's ball-dominance - he would've made them play-finishers just like Bosh and everyone would say how Lebron "carries" everyone and has no help.. It's a pathetic lack of understanding of the game by the media and fans alike.
his individual efficiency blows MJ's away.
Not at all - Curry's ORtg (points-per-possession) is 125, just like Jordan in 1991, and his PER is lower, 31.5 to Jordan's 31.7.
Also, Curry's efficiency is boosted by carrying a smaller load, as stats show.. Since Jordan reached the holy grail of basketball (winning championship and FMVP) while carrying a bigger load, who cares about efficiency..
If Curry had a bigger load on BOTH sides of the ball like MJ, his efficiency would be lower like Jordan's.
Well see if he can keep it up for playoffs, if so you will have witnessed GOAT offense my friend.
Exactly - his regular season compares to Jordan's 1991 regular season, but it doesn't compare to Jordan's 1991 POSTSEASON:

Jordan had FAR less turnovers, which squashes Curry's assist advantage, and leaves him with only ONE category that he leads - true shooting.
Jordan leads in every other category, and his playoff stats destroy Curry's 2016 regular season:
Per 100 Possessions
JORDAN 1991 RS: 42.7 pts.. 8.1 reb..4 7.5 ast.. 3.3 tov.. 3.7 stl.. 1.4 blk.. 60.4 ts.. 125 ORtg.. 31.6 PER.. 0.321 WS/48

Jordan had higher PER and equal points-per-possession (ORtg), even though Curry's efficiency is boosted by carrying a smaller load on both sides of the ball: he doesn't play defense and scores a lower proportion of his team's points:
