Steph Curry had 46 points last night on only 27 true shots.
This (scoring 45 or more) has only happened about 5 times before...here's the link: http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pgl_finder.cgi?request=1&player_id=&match=game&year_min=&year_max=&age_min=0&age_max=99&team_id=&opp_id=&is_playoffs=N&round_id=&game_num_type=&game_num_min=&game_num_max=&game_month=&game_day=&game_location=&game_result=&is_starter=&is_active=&is_hof=&pos_is_g=Y&pos_is_gf=Y&pos_is_f=Y&pos_is_fg=Y&pos_is_fc=Y&pos_is_c=Y&pos_is_cf=Y&c1stat=fga&c1comp=lt&c1val=24&c2stat=pts&c2comp=gt&c2val=45&c3stat=&c3comp=gt&c3val=&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=pts (just sort by FTA and notice that only 90 percent of the games here have at least 10 FTAs...giving them at least 28 true shots)
...and not many people even recognize this because breaking the 72 win record is the main thing getting talked about.
So Curry started the season with that ridiculous game against the Pelicans and then ended it on the same level. Amazing.
If he continues this in the playoffs, I can see MJ stans losing their mind.
