I'll admit, I was kinda bothered this morning when I read the headline. Why? Because it's ducking pathetic that a guy who's been the worst player in the league this year has the audacity to chuck all game against a team that had absolutely nothing to play for. The jizz were out of the playoffs and completely disheveled over it. So what does the attention seeking moron who's been nothing but awful do? He chucks and chucks and chucks to score 60 points. Stuff like this is exactly why I hate kobe and wish nothing but the worst for the dude....
And BTW, congrats to the Warriors for breaking the record. I now feel comfortable putting LeBron ahead of Jordan on the all time list.
Now im back to work... something most of you losers have no concept of , so I won't read any of the replies

he scored almost 60% of his team's points and scored 15 pts in the last 3 mins to overcome a double-digit deficit in the 4th, outscoring the Jazz 23-21

if the "jizz" had nothing to play for, then why did they leave Gordon Hayward in the whole game to guard kobe?

Wait pause, you didn't watch any of the games last night? In what could be honestly one of the top 10 NBA moments in history, Warriors clinching 73 and Kobe's last game with 60...you missed them both?
And you call yourself an NBA fan? I'm disgusted, that's just pathetic.

I'm no Kobe fan, but if you watched the game you would be in awe, and you wanted him to keep shooting on every possession.
At 37 years old, absolutely exhausted, hurting, the guy managed to take over the game in the 4th quarter, catch fire, and hit a game winner willing his team to victory one last time. He was beyond exhausted, and had a vintage Kobe performance.
50 shots? Okay so what. It was one last farewell, and everybody from the fans to the players on the Lakers wanted him to shoot the ball. They were looking for him on every possession, and told him to shoot. He shot 22\50, which isn't a bad efficiency giving the INSANE volume. Also Kobe made some great plays on the defensive end.
For all I hated on Kobe over the years, that was some legendary shit. Biggest names in the audience cheering him on. The crowd erupting like it was a NBA Finals game.
I was glad Kobe took every single shot he did, and I have never been a Kobe fan.

04-14-2016, 07:58 PM
It amazes me how many thousands of players go through the nba and never reach even 50 points even more rare is 60 and kobe did it in his last friggen game....

It's because you're not a basketball fan. You're a dickrider of one player only.
It's literally the other way around. You care about a guy shooting 50 times in his last game... you're reflecting on his life? Basketball is about team-work and selflessness. Tell me where kobe kobe fits in to that equation, while you're over there reflecting on his life. I mean how ironic can you be? I'm the guy giving the warriors credit as a TEAM, and not dickriding curry like YOU and all the other pathetic hero worshipers.
Now go cry and reflect on kobes career, you ****ing child. :oldlol:
Guy tells me i'm not a basketball fan because i don't like kobe shooting 50 times in a game. :oldlol: Holy smokes.

I don't know how anyone who's a fan of the game can possibly knock Kobe's performance. Yeah he took a lot of shots, but it was the last game of his career and most importantly, everyone WANTED him to take those shots. His team, the fans, and his peers throughout the league. Not only that, he was actually impressive. It's not like he shot 10/50 or something. He shot a respectable % and he came up huge down the stretch. The funny thing is, if he came out and was passive and didn't shoot very much, idiots like OP would criticize him for it.
Also to the OP, if you're actually saying the Bulls win record was the only reason you ranked Jordan above Lebron, you're more of an idiot than I thought. Aside from the fact that there's literally nobody on the planet who ranks Lebron above Jordan, the 72 win Bulls are barely a footnote to Jordan's GOAT status. He was widely considered the GOAT before the Bulls even broke the record.

Yep, I missed that. He's kinda fallen off since that OKC game like I predicted. No where near as much hype surrounding the guy. It's more about how good the warriors are now. His bad play down the stretch has made it more about the team, which i'm happy about.

He's averaged 31/8/6 on 49 percent shooting and 45 percent from 3 in his last 7 games. Damn, that's some real bad play down the stretch.

His last 7? Those numbers aren't even that good... and that's a pretty tiny sample size.
By down the stretch I mean since that OKC game, where his hype peaked. And I'm not interested in the numbers. Those ****ing stats are inflated playing on that team.

See, I knew you'd reply with some bullshit. It's a hilarious response though. I laughed.
Compare his numbers from before the OKC game and after the OKC game. And I don't even know what they'll look like, I haven't paid attention all that much. His hype though 100% peaked in OKC, which is what I originally said in that thread you referenced earlier. But like usual you dudes put words in my mouth and make a big deal out of nothing. :facepalm
