- retiring game 60 pts + game winner will never be matched.

- 81 pts is extremely unlikely.

- 62 pts in three quarters might.

in terms of record not being broken, i think last night will stay forever

these are the holy trinity of perimeter scoring performances.

Even great players like Steph Curry have never achieved anything close to the performances in these 3 games.

Its absolutely insane how scoring 81 points is arguably not even his best scoring performance. Only Godbe:applause:

I'm going with the Dallas game as that came against a team that made it to the NBA finals, as opposed to a lousy Toronto team. Dude outscored the damn team after 3 quarters lol

I'm not sure if it's his "best", but my favorite Kobe performance is game 1 of the 2001 WCF. He put up 45 on an excellent Spurs team, scoring in seemingly every which way imaginable, constantly taking it to the hoop and scoring against rim protectors Duncan and Robinson.

60 final game..... it had an entire season hype and some might say that hype was created over 20 years of legacy. The other two games were done in his prime and u expect great things in players primes. But nobody saw 60 coming and he had the whole world glued to the screen.

The playoff game.

Which ones? The back to back 40+pt 15+reb playoff game vs Kings? The multiple 40pt games vs Spurs? Game_winner vs Nash Suns? The closeout game vs Suns when he slapped Gentry on da azz after amazing shots? 4th quarter game 7 vs Celtics scores 10pts (leads the team) plays great D, after struggling from the floor found other ways to dominate ending with 23pts 15reb (numbers yawl would be on Duncan's pipe about), which one?:confusedshrug:
