One of those picks is even in the top 5 (unprotected Nets pick)
And on top of all the picks this year, they also have the Nets 1st round picks for the next two years + the Grizzlies 1st round pick in 2018 + 3 more 2nd round picks in 2017/2018.
Don't think I've ever seen a playoff team with that many picks, not a bad spot to be in.
This is rebuilding done right, unlike what the Sixers are doing.

draft doesnt seem very strong in potential draft and stash picks, and no way the Celtics add more than 3 rookies to the roster.
gonne be fun to see what happens. what teams are desperate for picks? NY and Brooklyn, who else?

Brad Stevens is a good coach for an underdog team to overachieve, but does he have what it takes to win the ultimate prize, an NBA title? I doubt it, he clearly didnt look like one in the two NCAA championship game losses. If the Celtics make it to NBA finals and lose each time, are their fans satisfied with this result?

They just seem to be missing one or two pieces honestly. It's pretty nice to see Stevens doing well and to see that team buy into his mindset all egos aside.

Making the finals or conference finals is a huge success for any team. You don't need to win a championship to be considered successful.

But then why are so many people mocking Lebron for being 2/6 and soon to be 2/7 in NBA finals, if its already such a huge accomplishment to make it to NBA finals alone?

What's the protection on the Grizzlies pick Boston gets in 2018?
Because Denver is also owed a first from Memphis.

how many of those picks are for the upcoming draft? because theyre most likely going to have to trade a few of them, unless half their team are FA's this summer

It's a great rebuilding job, tho a once in a lifetime one because the Nets are so ****ing stupid.
They're who I'm hoping gets the top pick. Would love to see Stevens with potentially an actual allstar caliber player who isn't 4 foot tall.

They should make a splash, Demarcus Cousins for picks.
Recruit Durant with Cousins

I don't mock Lebron I think he's had amazing career so far. Some people are always going to hate on professional athletes

They need to take the next step. Make trades for stars. They have a good roster and a great coach but they won't win anything without a star. They need to trade for unhappy stars like they did in 08. Cousins or Love seems to be good places to aim.

They need to get Hield or Murray

Whether they land a superstar/s in either of those draft picks or not, I'm sure all of them will be solid choices, no busts.
