The tsunami was 5 years ago and every freakin' day they mention it on tv. Every single day the past 5 years. It was horrible. But they like to be reminded apparently..never forget. The Japanese are a smart bunch.

I'm travelling to Japan in late September/early October.

Worrying about stuff like this never popped into my mind due to it being a vacation, but then you see this a few months before you're going to travel. Puts some thoughts in your mind.
