LeBron would eat up an opportunity like this.

No. Not even close. He will score 10 points at most because he is too athleticism dependant

LeBron.

Dirk, KG, Carter, and Flash all had great careers.

However, when it's all said and done, LeBron's impact on the league destroys them in comparison.

LeBron came into the league as a blaze of fire. That fire is still burning and has been felt domestically and globally. He was pegged as the Chosen One. Hell, from what we have seen, he sure looks like it.

His retirement will be very similar to Kobe's.

IMO Dirk.....

I think skilled players are more exciting to watch.....and capture more imagination of the fans.

Dirk is one of the greatest shooters ( from any spot) of alltime...arguably the GOAT ( but curry)

fans will go crazy to watch him catch fire....he brings that in a similar way Kobe did.

Nah. Dirk isn't really a household name like Kobe or LeBron. I don't see him having the same kind of retirement tour as Kobe did.

Other teams going to let Lebron make layups all during his farewell game?

Duderonomy

Duncan. He will only play limited minutes but Kawhi and LaMarcus will score 60 combined and people will move Tim up two spots on their all-time list.

None of these guys are narcissistic enough to care about a farewell tour.

They should have a farewell tour for a forgettable role player. Just for a goof.

Correction. None of these guys are legendary enough to warrant a farewell tour. And if they tried doing it it would fall flat on its face with the lack of interest. Like a loser kid who invites his entire class to his birthday party only to have no one show up (I'm sure you're familiar with this)

He's been a household name since like 2003

Don't think lebron lebron would shoot 50 times in a single game. There's a reason he's considered a top 3-7 player all time while most fans have Kobe outside the top 11.
Lebron knows how to play basketball. The right way.

Come again. Thank you

Dirk isn't as HUGE as them two, not here in Australia at least

My parents know who Kobe/LeBron is, ask em who does Dirk Nowitzki play for and they'd have no clue

It'll definitely LeBron. Except his final game will come in the playoffs.

you need 5 or more rings to even get an application form from the farewell tour committee

bdonovan
04-16-2016, 01:53 AM
LeBron. Though he will have more obsessive haters at these last games too.

Not sure why a farewell tour like Bryant's or someone else's would be narcissistic. It seems the fans honored him on their own.

Duncan. He will only play limited minutes but Kawhi and LaMarcus will score 60 combined and people will move Tim up two spots on their all-time list.

This might be Duncan's last year, he's not going to announce his last year and have a tour if you will. He's got too much pride for such a shameless thing. Jordan didn't even announce it persay. People just assumed, and Duncan aint Jordan.

There is no way in hell my mom or dad have ANY idea who he is. I'm not sure they would know who Durant is either. Lebron and Kobe are the only two people who'd know if they saw them, period. And I am not 100% sure on that one.

He's got too much pride for such a shameless thing.

But not enough pride to end his career before he was the 10th best player on his team.

And he will be rewarded with precisely 0 rings more than Kobe.

Good for him.

only person deserving of a farewell tour is duncan, but we know that soft ass ***** is not gonna do one. he wont even announce his retirement until after the fact probably

Dirk won't announce his retirement. Dirk will be leave the NBA like Andy Dufresne in The Shaawshank Redemption. He may tell Kidd/Terry where to find him though after it is all said and done.

that might backfire on lebron though, when he performs his stiff arm and no one is there to be hit, he will lose his balance and fall.

Am I the only one who thinks Kobe's farewell tour was partly a marketing ploy to sell tickets + merchandise? :confusedshrug:

That's a good point. The Lakers are hot garbage they probably told Kobe to spill it the beans early to get a last chance to see him buzz for an attendance boost.
