Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is questionable for Game 2 of the team's playoff series against the Houston Rockets after rolling his ankle.

Curry, who has a history of ankle problems, twice left Saturday's 104-78 Game 1 victory after tweaking his ankle. He finished with 24 points, but barely played in the second half of a rout.

"As far as [Game 2 on] Monday, I'd say say Steph is questionable," coach Steve Kerr said. "We will see how he responds the next couple of days and go from there."

Curry seems the favorite to win his second consecutive MVP and has averaged 30.7 points, 6.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds this season while hitting an NBA-record 402 3-pointers.

The Warriors set a new record for wins in a season, going 73-9 as they chase back-to-back NBA championships.

Game 2 of the team's series against the Rockets is Monday night in Oakland.

Jordan carried a larger load than Curry, on both sides of the ball:

Ultimately, Jordan achieved the highest honor (winning championship and FMVP), while carrying a bigger load on both ends, which makes efficiency arguments irrevelant..

Not that it matters - Jordan had higher Player Efficiency Rating and points-per-possession (while carrying the larger load on both ends)
.

Curry needs to drink more milk, and stop drinking Coke and Pepsi.

Just sit him and not risk further injury. Pretty sure Warriors can win this game without him and even if they can't the team still has this series in 5.

I wouldn't even play Curry in this series unless it goes to 6.

Patrick Beverly is a menace.

Warriors need to protect Steph's ankles at all costs. They're bad. I won't be convinced he's not injury-prone and fragile until he retires. Every time I watch him I'm somewhat worried it will happen again.

Curry could rest until the WCF. Literally nobody would pick LAC over the Warriors even without Curry. Warrios in 5 or a sweep either way.
