Who do you think wins in a best of 7 series? Prime Vince Carter, and Antonio Davis vs. Demar Derozan and Kyle Lowry.

This

Almost beat the Sixers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Carter was amazing in that series.

The 2001 raptors won 3 games on the road in that postseason and was a jumpshot away from going to the ECF and you comparing them to the sh*tty 2016 raptors?

VC had the talent, but he didn't have the heart to win in Toronto. Lowry and Derozan have the heart but not the same level of talent as VC - and Lowry/DRZ lacks confidence in their own abilities in the playoffs right now.

Before the start of the playoffs raptor fans and some ISH posters were calling them the GOAT RAPTORS team.

Carter is going to turn Derozan into a screensaver.

VC had heart. He tried his best but was constantly surrounded by shitty teammates year after year. Then the fans in Toronto turned on Vince for whatever dumb reason they did.

Derozan and Lowry both have no heart and very little talent.

Raptors drafted this guy in 2004.
Jerry Sloan described him as the hardest working gym rat he had ever seen in the NBA. Despite him being a bad NBA player, it was not from lack of work ethic and he managed to carve out a decent career for himself.

Vince admitted not giving his 100% when he was playing in Toronto. He had the talent, yes. He was loved by the fans, and then hated when he left.

Derozan and Lowry have huge heart for Toronto. Talentwise - they may not be as talented as VC or other superstars, but the talent is still there. What they really lack is confidence.

Vince would beat the sht out of this soft Raps team.
hed avg like 35/6/5 or something, he was a top 3 offensive player in 01. George is gonna have his way with this raps team and he isnt half the player offensively that a peak VC was

and like ive always said Lowry is fcking fraud. there were actually dumb@zzes that were tryna argue this years lowry was on 01 VCs level or better:roll:

They lack talent, confidence and most importantly of all, clutchness and mental strength.

If Lowry and Derozan weren't both choke artists, for example if just one of them was clutch, T-Dot might be able to get in to the second round, or even win a playoff game at home.

That 01 Raps team has alot of talent. Especially for the eastern conference.

Alvin Williams, Mo-Pete, Keon Clark. Then it had alot of guys with attitude and swag, hate using that word but they had guys with a don't give f*cks type of gsme- Big Nasty Williamson, Junkyard Dog, Oakley for a vet presence, Chris Childs for you lebrontards.

That team would wipe the floor with this current Raps squad.

16 Raptors in 7.

Deeper team, better two way team. Series would go down similar like the Pacers series in last year's playoffs. Also like that series, Vince would be flat out the best player like PG was for the Pacers, but his scoring/clutch prowess would come up just short, I think.

Out.
