the first coach to demand players to pass him the ball to the sidelines

it doesn't matter to him if that results in a turnover. there's no other way to play it.

I think kobe could be a good coach, a snake asshole but a knowledgeable one, like George Karl for example.

Coachbe would be way too demanding for the current Knick roster. Players would be crying. 3am practices.

Besides, Kobe wants nothing to do with the dumpster fire that is the New York Knicks.

Superstars with great work ethic would be too demanding. This was why I was shocked when Bird was pretty good. These guys took the game seriously and put the game over everything else and when they notice that the guys they are coaching don't care nearly as much as they did, it's a huge letdown. I would love Kobe as a coach, but I don't know how well he would do. Let's give it a try, I'd rather him than Rambis that's for sure :lol

right.

Imagine if a team had a bunch of dedicated work-hard players that just needed focus. Coachbe cuold actually be quite effective. But that is not how to describe the current Knicks...

That's a horrible excuse. Bird is a top 2 ATG IQ (Russell being #1) among former players. That coupled with his style of leadership is what translated into him being a brilliant coach.

Kobe isn't the kind of guy who would be good at managing egos. Guys with huge egos as players would make horrible coaches. Luckily for Jordan, he was smart enough to recognize this in himself. Kobe's not remotely close to an Xs and Os kind of basketball savant.

In short, he'd be almost certainly be a horrible coach.
