View Full Version : Curry Out = Rocket Fuel?

We all know the Rockets are in shambles. Dwight and Harden can't get along, etc. However, let's just say Curry being out is the fuel that these boneheads need. Harden was said to take at least one game in this series. What if, this is the game. The Rockets come out shooting with everything they got and do the unthinkable. They manage to win game 2 without Curry being on the floor.

All of a sudden, the pressure is back on Golden State the mythical 73-9 destined to win back-to-back championship team. Curry, with probably a still sore ankle, has to come back and save the day in game 3. The Rockets smell blood. Beverly puts pressure on Curry and becomes an irritant. Harden gets hot. Dwight looks decent. Team starts to click......

Rockets win game 3......

The flood gates could open folks. Just saying...

Curry might better lace up the sneaks and finish these boys off for good, BEFORE things get out of hand. This is one of Steve Kerr's hardest decisions. To play Curry or not to play Curry. That is the question.

Anything is possible, but if Curry is on the court in any capacity, the Warriors will be fine against the Rockets.

Curry is an absolute warrior, along the lines of Jack Youngblood

There's no way he sits out this game on his own terms

HOUSTON STILL HAS TO BEAT THE WARRIORS IN ORACLE TWICE.......AND THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN WITH OR WITHOUT CURRY

ARE WE REALLY COMPARING A SHIP THAT HAD NO BUSINESS BEING OUT AT SEA DURING THOSE CONDITIONS TO A BASKETBALL TEAM THAT CLINCHED A PLAYOFF BERTH 2 MONTHS AGO GOING UP AGAINST A TEAM THAT BARELY GOT IN???

This isnt the 07 mavs or the 94 supersonics. Rockets will win ONE and that's it.

History has a strange way of delivering opposite rare outcomes.

In the first round, of the 2007 NBA playoffs, the number 1 seed Dallas Mavericks lost to the number 8 seed Golden State Warriors. The unthinkable happened.

What if the script gets flipped? This time, Golden State could be the number 1 seed that loses to the number 8 seed. As I said, history has a funny way of delivering these rare flipflop outcomes. Just saying...

Let him rest, rockets are streaky though
That's the problem though. If he rest, Rockets could have a chance to win game 2. Curry is the freaking MVP of the league. You don't lose your MVP and expect nothing to happen.

Most Valuable Player....

Without Curry, the Rockets have a punchers chance. I don't like those odds if I'm Kerr. One doesn't want a team, that has absolutely nothing lose, winning game 2 and placing the pressure back on Golden State in game 3.

If Warriors win the next game they are up 2-0

If Rockets can claim homecourt they will be 2-2

If Warriors win game 5 at home they are 3-2

If Rockets win game 6 at home they are 3-3

If Rockets win game 7 at Oracle that will mark only one win at oracle

Rockets couldn't beat their own meat if you gave them lube and porno. You could take Curry off the W's and give the current Rockets MJ and they would still lose with their terrible roster. I am no fan of the Warriors but it was quite glorious to watch them utterly dismantle the Rockets and expose James Haren as being a manufactured superstar.
