Most ridiculous shit I've seen in awhile

Absolute dumb asses

Essentially the story is there was a custody dispute, she had custody by law in Australia, but the kids were with the father in Lebanon.. So she went to 60 minutes, and they hired some mercenaries and tried to abduct the kids in Lebanon and put them on a flight back to Australia where they would fall under Australian jurisdiction and she would have custody. Instead, they got caught and looking like some serious jail time (Including the mother and 60 minute journalists who were there as well filming). LMAO

Also there's more to it... It's being spun here in Australia to make him look bad, and call the situation a "recovery effort"

The timeline goes like this;

They lived together with the children in Lebanon for 2 years, she takes them back to Australia and tells him on the phone she had ripped up their passports and that they're staying in Australia... For some strange reason, she got them new passports and allowed the children to go on a holiday back in Lebanon... this was before she had full custody in Australia... He outplayed her by extending the "vacation"... Then she goes to 60 minutes, hires the mercenaries and tries to kidnap them back, only to get caught.

Also within this time period she apparently married another man in Australia and had another child. Personally, as a man I'd take it as an insult for another man to raise my child/children.

They're both bad here, but she is infinitely more so. 60 minutes ****ed up real bad here

lmaaao F^CK 60 MINUTES

Hold this L.

It's quite funny because I'm sure the journalists are probably thinking the entire country is behind them and are anxious for their return.
But no one in Australia gives a shit.

Most people seem to think they deserve it. I heard someone at work say "the less journos in the world the better".

I love Australia :oldlol:

It's good to finally see a man come out on top in a custody type battle

It's not a "I hate women thing"

It's from personal experience.. Common knowledge custody scenarios/laws/battles are stacked in women's favor... I've seen how they use children as assets and position the father on the outside

The statistics of percentage of women winning custody battles is ridiculous

And then the women resorts to all types of BS, false accusations of domestic violence, turning his kids against him

It's sad really, like if you could ask most divorcing dads they'd just wanna see their kids man. Take the money, take the house, just don't take a dudes kids away

No they aren't. In most regions of the west, men receive full custody 5-10% of the time, that's pretty much in line with the % of time they are the more qualified to be the full time care-giver.

Yep

Happened to my old man

When you're young you got no clue, and you listen to everything your mom tells you... How he's the bad guy, everything he's done wrong.. And you grow up thinking that you'll never be like him and you'll never be in that position... But then you get older and start to understand these things, and you can very much see how this can happen, and a better understanding and appreciation

Women change drastically after the decline begins

Hell looking at pictures of this couple... Looks like the girl fell off very quickly

He's definitely the more attractive one of the two by far

Too bad this is Lebanon and not Saudi Arabia where this happened. The prisons and laws are a lot tougher there than they are in Lebanon.

I was reading an article about this.

So they just went to Lebanon and hired a crew of thugs to violently kidnap the kids at gunpoint... after which the mom planned to smuggle the kids out of the country through war-torn Syria? Even though the kids were living safe and comfortably with their family?

That woman is batshit insane. If she wanted to be with her kids that badly.....she could have just moved to Beirut. :confusedshrug: But no, accepting the situation and trying to work out a solution is not enough. Only "winning" is acceptable, even if it puts the kids in the hands of violent criminals and lead them through Syria like lambs to the slaughter.

That bastard news crew who went along with this craziness better go to prison for a long time.

I don't entirely blame her. I'd try and save my kids from dirt land too. Having said that, be a little more selective next time you choose to have kids. You know...not someone from dirt land who might steal them away to dirt land. After these kids suicide bomb, you can fresh start and try to do it right.

You said someone from dirt land. Hes born in California, America. I agreed with you completely. She should have stayed away from men born in dirt land. Serves her right.
California is Armenia. I'm right either way. I wont ***** foot around it. She should stay away from Arabs if she doesn't want these types of issues in the future.

What type of issues are we talking about, though? She instigated the whole affair and we don't know if the Arab dude did anything wrong. But it seems like he didn't and he's (along with the kids) the victim here.

Timeline:
-Family lives in Beirut, father owns a successful business and provides for the family.
-Mother takes the children on holiday, then tears up their passports and kidnaps them.
-Mother starts a new family with another man, has another child. (in the span of like <1 year)
-Father tricks mother (who previously illegally took his children away from their home) into letting the children visit their home on "holiday" and keeps them there.
-Batshit insane mother comes to Lebanon, violently kidnaps the children on the streets at gunpoint and plans to smuggle them through some of the most dangerous places in the world.

The Lebanese dude comes off as the good guy here.

Also remember that the father may not have premeditated keeping the children, but they may have told him they didn't want to return and wanted to stay with him for good. I know that everyone always ignores the children's opinions, but that could have been the case.

Brown and the crew, from the Nine Network’s 60 Minutes program, must pay compensation by 2pm Beirut time in order to secure their release. Nine says its staff could be on a flight back to Australia as early as Wednesday night.

Lawyers for Faulkner and her former partner, Ali al-Amin, confirmed a deal had been struck earlier on Wednesday before it was presented at about 11am to judge Rami Abdullah.

The precise details, including the amount paid in compensation over the botched alleged child-snatching, remain unclear.

Should've done them like them 2 dudes from Bali 9. Would should these dumb****s that you just can't waltz into another country and attempt armed kidnappings.

Channel 9 and 60 Minutes should be levied a MASSIVE fine in Australia as well.

Dude brought surfing and an escape to those in Lebanon from war. Sounds like a pretty rad and gnarly dude to me. Great job California on raising a stellar kid.
