This is nuts.
Crawford has one of the lowest FG%'s in the game. He's the 4th worst:
http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/field-goals/sort/fieldGoalPct/seasontype/2/order/false
His 2pt fg percentage is the 7th worst in the game:
http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/field-goals/sort/twoPointFieldGoalPct/seasontype/2/order/false
People talk about certain players dribbling around and then at the last minute kicking out to a teammate who has to chuck it -- this is pretty much the case in the rare event Crawford doesn't decide to drive to the hoop 1 against 5.
His box score plus minus is -1 which is 217th in the league (http://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2015_advanced.html).
BPM -- Box Plus/Minus
A box score estimate of the points per 100 possessions a player contributed above a league-average player, translated to an average team.
His defensive box score plus minus is -2.7 which is 438th in the league (see above link).
DBPM ▾ -- Defensive Box Plus/Minus
A box score estimate of the defensive points per 100 possessions a player contributed above a league-average player, translated to an average team.
Jamal makes some incredible highlight-reel plays but he takes a lot of bad shots, he's not the best defensive player; the way he runs the offense is disjointed because he doesn't distribute. The Clippers may be deceiving themselves because of the accolades Crawford gets, but their bench is still weak and I don't think Crawford even helps them that much.

Wanted to post something similar but I'm glad someone else really understands why Jamal Crawford is awful.

Kanter's stats look really good raw wise, and in some advanced metrics
Not so good in others
But I still thought he should have won
Those numbers are crazy good for a 6man

I enjoy watching Crawford and his freewheeling, streetball style but his type of play has never been effective for good basketball teams.
His game is all flash and little substance, much like the rest of the Clippers squad.

Deserved it.
In his last 10 regular season games he scored 18 PPG with 62 TS%
After a slow start, in the last half of the season he averaged 16 PPG 54 TS%
No other subs get that kind of numbers

The same people that voted Lou Williams last year ahead of Isaiah Thomas and Iggy.
