After tonight's game, would give him exactly 100 more than both Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowtizki (102 more).

Pretty amazing number considering both those guys were his closest rivals during his prime and position. When you put into all context all he has done during the playoffs as well, I wonder if some would consider him to have a Top 3-5 career at worst.

He's been in the Playoffs every year except for 2000, when he was injured IIRC

that's what you get when you have the GOAT coach and at least 1 HOFer for every year of your career

starts out with D-Rob, gets TP and Manu, gets Kawhi and Aldridge when he's a role player

one of the most consistent sports careers ever when you look at his health and the quality of the rosters Spurs have been able to put out for almost 20 straight years

Who is he gaining on?

Who is he gaining on?

Robert Horry. 4 games guaranteed in this series, Duncan would surpass him with 245.

Derek Fisher #1 all-time with 259. Amongst all-time greats, he's already #1 as he passed Kareem last year.

Who is he gaining on?

Horry is 2nd - ahead by 2 games so Duncan will pass him this series. Derek Fisher is 1st - ahead by 17 games so doubtful TD passes Fisher this year unless they get by GSW.

Duncan is also getting close to #1 alltime in playoff wins. He is 9 wins behind the current leader (Derek Fisher), which he could get by reaching the WCF and pushing the series vs GSW to at least game 6.

He has played in 19 seasons, same as Karl Malone, but played 7484 minutes less than him. Talk about minute management thanks to having the GOAT franchise and the GOAT coach.

Malone averaged 37.2 minutes per game for 19 years. In contrast, (#1) Harden averaged 38.1 mins this year. Every other player in the entire league averaged 37 mins or less this season - no matter their age - just the trend these days to play less. Of course, Pop was the one who first started limited minutes.

The franchise would be called Seattle Spurs if not for Tim Duncan.

You say that like Sloan was a terrible coach.
