Oh man...if there's any real damage........

I have a feeling there is real damage.

I think he only came back on the bench in game 1 because the Warriors didn't want to give the Rockets the psychological edge knowing for sure that Curry was out for the series.

Knowing the warriors are 2-0 this series , I HIGHLY DOUBT they will let him play anyways . Curryless warriors can win this series without him.

Maybe the playoffs would actually be interesting.

he already had his MRI:

"MRI on Steph Curry's right ankle, I'm told, revealed "nothing of concern." Remains listed as questionable for Thursday's Game 3"

guess he just needs alot of rest for now

KungFuJoe

Sit him for the entire series...they don't need Curry to beat the Rockets. They have Harden and Dwight. :oldlol:

if its something as simple as a rolled ankle, just sit him the rest of the first round. GSW should still sweep or win in 5, while the clipps vs port can potentially go 6 or more. so curry will have plenty of time to recover before the 2nd round and wont play defenses that try to undercut him

If those braces he wears are tight it's supposed to make you just fall over instead of rolling it.

There's no reason to bring him back for this series. I wouldn't mess around with something like this, especially with a guy who's had ankle issues in the past. The days off between now and game 1 of round 2 should give him plenty of time to get healthy.

"should sweep or 5"
"can potentially go 6 or longer"
"plenty of time to recover"

Lol, if you think Clips/Blazers will go longer than GSW/HOU without Curry, you're in for a surprise.

Curry was quoted today that he "felt a tweak, (not a pop). that's good news for Warrior fans. He was able to put weight on his ankle and didn't appear to have a debilitating limp last night. It's seems to be a normal "bump and bruises" scenario. He'll play in Houston Thursday night. My final answer.:hammertime:

i think it would be better in the long run if they sat him til the second round. or atleast wait til Golden State shows signs that they may need his help to beat Houston. let Klay Thompson be the focal point of the offense and give him a chance to play through his choking ways with the added pressure.

the last thing Golden State needs is the Klay Thompson from last years' finals against the Cavs to rear his ugly head.

Are the ankle braces really strong enough to always do that?

Nope, 2/7 once the Spurs beat them in 5 games.

Just a sprained ankle. MRI showed no ligament damage. He's good. They're just being cautious.

That's how Curry messed up his ankle in the first place. Rolled it in a preseason game and didnt let it heal. It's a case of let's not let history repeat itself.

With Curry out for season, the Warriors will not win NBA title, the ceiling is WCF.

Today's sports headline in the San Jose Mercury news : Curry " I'm playing game 3 " ( game 3 ). With todays advance sports rehab methods ie.,deep electrical stimulus techniques, yadda yadda, it doesn't surprise me.

It was just a tweak. Remember, it's still an NBA playoff team, playing at home for their lives, got to play Curry. :applause:

That quote doesn't make sense. In fact, it was the same thing said before game 2. I'm sure that's where it's from. Not to mention that game 3 is tomorrow night and not tonight.

I think Marcus Thompson did some cut and paste work there.

Wouldn't have even made the finals most of those years coming out west, so it definitely does not even out.

All this talk in this thread reminds me of Kyrie last year. Warriors need to sweep to give curry time to rest. Playing a guy with a injury is a great way to give the guy an even more serious injury. Warriors with curry for the foreseeable future are contenders for multiple rings. Don't play around with his ankles. This changes everything for the playoffs.

I'm worried about the cavs looking ahead. The heat scare the crap out of me.

As long as the Big Three are healthy. Cavaliers are winning the championship.
