Start around 6 minutes.

Broussard on Max and Marcellus: Durant, if he were to go to the Lakers, he would wand to go there with another star. One that could potentially fit that bill would be DeMar Derozan.
Broussard on Max and Marcellus: Raptors are first choice for DeRozan unless they offer less than max. Lakers on the list of teams.

If I was Durant and wanted to win a ring, it makes perfect sense to go to the worst team in the conference and second worst in the league. Makes sense. :lol

Durant's biggest hero in life is Kobe.
Durant will come to LAL to rebuild the dynasty and carry on his hero's legacy, just as Kobe carried on his hero Magic's legacy.

Kobe's hero was Magic. He said it multiple times in interviews and said it during his farewell press-conference. Kobe wanted to one-up Jordan. He certainly copied some of his moves, but Kobe copied every great players moves, he even does Hakeem dream shakes and has done Dirk's fadeaway sometimes.
He's basically Kakashi from Naruto.
But Magic was Kobe's biggest hero. That's why young Kobe threw a fit until he got traded to the Lakers. He wanted to play on his favorite team that his childhood hero played on.

Dude, he copied EVERYTHING from MJ. Even the way he ran, the way he chewed gum, the way he talked. No way Magic was his idol. Maybe his first idol before "discovering" MJ.

it wasn't Magic - his idol as a child was Ozcar Schmidt. Kobe and Magic did nothing in common to even insinuate that Magic is who he aspired to be like, that definitely leans to MJ.

Kobe Bryant ended his illustrious NBA and Laker career on Wednesday night in a way that only he could. Bryant scored 60 points on 50 shots, and he came up big in the fourth quarter when the Lakers needed it the most. Despite not being the player he once was, Kobe put on a show for the Staples Center crowd and gave them one last memory.
Before the game, Laker legend Magic Johnson addressed the fans and called Bryant the greatest Laker of all time. Kobe holds franchise records in many very meaningful categories including most points, games played, field goals made and minutes.
However, after the 60-point explosion, Kobe told the media in his final press conference that he does not consider himself as the greatest. In his eyes, Magic Johnson is still the most decorated player to suit up for the purple and gold.
Kobe's reaction to Magic saying pre-game that he was the best Laker to wear purple & gold: "I refuse to believe it b/c Magic is my hero."

Kobe Bryant on his Lakers fandom: “I used to wear really big knee pads because Magic used to wear knee pads.”

Broussard is off as always, nothing new here, but DeRozan a star? Does this guy even watch games? The guy is pissing the bed in the playoffs for the third year in a row. If he were to play with Derozan might as well stay with Westbrook and Ibaka.
