They're a below average team, with a great coach. Most other coaches would get 25 wins, maybe 30 tops, out of that roster.

What's so funny ?
Atlanta is the better team, especially with Boston not having a healthy roster. Decent teams also don't beat teams that are better and more experienced.

I dont think we're playoff good, but good enough to show that adding a few key pieces can catapult us to the upper tier of the East.
This year was fun to watch because these are guys that should have no business was winning 35 games, never mind 48. Just shows how good Brad Stevens really is.

Biggest myth in the NBA. They are a 40+ win team with any NBA level coach.
They have the roster to make the playoffs in the east, regardless of coach.
Sure if you just watched these 2 games, you'd say 30. But Atlanta is bad match-up for them.

Stevens is a good young coach. Ainge is a better talent evaluator and trader.
They have 8-9 solid to good NBA players on their roster, and 2-3 good prospects as well.
This isn't a team of scrubs.

They have abysmal luck. They could have reached the ECFs if they were on the other side of the bracket. Instead, they face a team who they match up poorly with and then lose Avery Bradley. Even if they somehow beat the Hawks, they get to play the Cavs, once again without Bradley.
As a Heat fan, I can't tell you how glad I am that we are almost definitely not going to see them again. It's the difference between a possible trip to the Finals and a first round exit, if that's when we faced them.
It really does have to suck for the Celtics and their fans. Last week, they were bitchslapping the Heat around yet again, but the game proved to be meaningless as Miami ended up backing into the #3 seed. Now the Heat are poised to make a run, while the Celtics are probably going to be cleaning out their lockers some time next week.
Not that I'm complaining....
